More than shawls -- YAY!
I love lace, but how many shawls do I really need in my wardrobe? Three or four, and then I'm done. Thank goodness for Heather Zoppetti's new book Everyday Lace. Sure, there is one obligatory wrap, but it's a circular vest thingy (Narvon Wrap) that is all the rage right now. And there is a shrug (Manor Ridge Shrug), but it's an attractive one I can see myself wearing at an Argentine Tango class. There are some very creative and stunning projects here, such as the Engleside Cowl-Neck pullover that has an intricate, raised, woven look to its cuffs, collar, and hem. I'm looking forward to kitting the Akron Cowl (p.87). It has a wild, complicated looking tilt to it that is actually a very simple 10 st garter stitch. Seriously: It only requires knit, purl, yarn over, knit 2 together, and slip slip knit! I think I'm going to be knitting a bunch of these for holiday gifts this year.If you're looking to wear lace all year round, I recommend this book.

Amazing designer!
I've been eagerly anticipating this book for a long time. I've known about this project since the beginning and this book and Heather DID NOT disappoint! The patterns are amazing and so very well written with clear instructions and easy to read charts. The pictures of the finished garments are equally amazing and wearable for every day. I love all the patterns in this book and I'm not sure I could pic a favorite! I'll be starting with the Strasburg arm warmers then right on to the Engleside Pullover.Heather is a supremely talented designer and I've known her for many years. I feel very honored to call her my friend. If you've never tried lace before buy this book! You can't go wrong and you will love the finished product as much as the journey!

Very nice book! I haven't made anything from it yet but there are patterns I plan to make and they look easy. Happy with this purchase, thanks Amazon!

That part was wonderful.
I bought the book for 1 pattern that a group of women I know are planning to do as a knit-a long project. Otherwise I did not need the whole book, but was please to buy it used at a reduced price. That part was wonderful.

Great book with lots of variation of items to knit and a few crochet.
I really enjoyed the book, but there were stains, like coffee had been spilled on the table and seeped into the pages, while it doesn't hurt the usability of the book, it really wasn't as described. It could have been overlooked and I'm not all that unhappy about it, just sayin it wasn't as described.
