I like this whitener. I had a favorite, a different brand, and it was discontinued. Searched high and low for an equivalent product and this is the closest I found. Two coats, plus a quick coat under the nails, works well. Lightens the nail overall, and has that slightly perceptible purple tone that does the whitening. Appears to resist chipping, based on a day of working with my hands with zero chips or wear.

I've used this before. I think it's a great product that works. I smoked for a long time and a couple nails were extremely yellowed. This polish covered it first use. It goes on like a clear polish. I highly recommend it.Same day. If you smoke a cigarette the polish on one nail gets completely yellow. Then you have to remove it and reapply it. If you smoke, don't get this. I'm working on quitting but had a cigarette tonite..

This Eveline nail whitening base coat works well, IF you follow the instructions on the box! First of all, this leaves your nails a kind of milky white color, with no shine. The instructions say to apply 2 coats everyday, removing the polish every 2 days. (So, you are wearing 4 coats in 2 days). Do this for 10 days. I followed the instructions faithfully, and my nails did have an overall brighter appearance, which seems to be lasting for a couple of weeks, so far. (I forgot to take photos!). It takes a lot of the nail polish itself, nail polish remover, cotton balls, and Time! to do the routine they advise. Somehow, I was able to follow through, and it was worth it. On the downside, I used up about 1/3 of the bottle following the instructions, so it is a bit costly, considering how long the bottle is going to last you, and it was more expensive than the regular polishes that I buy. It comes in a smaller bottle than regular polishes do, too. I think this product is meant as a base coat, to keep nails whiter under your polish. It also says on the bottle that it is a nail conditioner. Well, I do have brighter nails, but they still split easily, so I'm not sure my nails are any better conditioned. I might try to look for a similar, but cheaper product when this runs out, but this Eveline does work well. Just a bit costly for me, personally.

I used it for a couple months. Then I noticed my nails, which are normally as hard as horses hoofs, begin to crumble and split. About July, and I used it through August. I have not used it since, and my nails are still splitting.

I’ve never had a manicure or pedicure, I’ve only ever done my own nails so I can just advise on what works best for me. I have only a single coat of the Eveline White Nails on my fingernails in the photos I’ve submitted and it seems like a decent product. I’ve been painting my nails for around 50 years now, starting at a young age, and I know that nail polish WILL STAIN nails, as will certain other everyday activities. If your nails are heavily stained, I would recommend VERY light sanding with a very fine sandpaper - the type of wet/dry sandpaper, 800 grit or higher - to begin with, on bare nails. Using a light touch, gently sand the underside and the top surface. You don’t want to remove layers of your nail, just the stains. You should see good results immediately. Clean and dry the nails and then apply nail polish in thin coats, allowing each coat to dry completely.
