Blank Medieval Shield - 16 Gauge Steel Battle Ready - Black - One Size

I can’t say anything bad about the price for the product I purchased. It’s a perfect blank. A sturdy shield that leaves room for me to decorate and upgrade as I see fit. Well worth what I paid for it.

This is a proper steel shield, definitely could survive pretty much any sort of blade or axe fighting. On me (a person of a height of 5’10”) this completely covers my torso and groin. Also, on me (a person who has a athletic build) the arm straps are just slightly bigger than my forearm and longer than my hand width. Overall a great value. Quick note: if you are worried about shipping, don’t be. This shield is well packaged, and mine did not come with any chips, scratches, etc. to the paint and it did not come with dents to the ends of the shield.

It's as basic as it can be but sturdy, strong, and useful. I wouldn't buy this if you are planning on putting on display. Maybe you could paint it how YOU want it to look.Works perfect for what i wanted

M only issue is that the nuts on the inside can come lose. Not a huge deal but a 5 star deal breaker.

This shield is great quality and comes exactly as described. The straps look and function exactly as shown in the picture. This is a great purchase.

this is a very good shield and the metal is pretty flexable and has good give for impacts, I marked it down a star as the handle is just a leather strap, I took some leather and wrapped it around the strap to fashion a handle for it but this could have been done at the maker level.
