A word of caution...
I tried using this for hip thrusts. Anyone buying this should know that it works by relying on the user to get into a perfect position and create a crease in the pad for the bar to rest in. Any deviation from that position, especially when raising your body off the ground to get setup for the first rep, will cause the bar to come tumbling off this pad and directly onto your abdomen or hips. Other pads that wrap around the bar alleviate this concern. Also, I didn't notice any significant comfort with this product over the "normal" bar pads. Luckily, during my first attempt at using this pad I had very light weight on the bar when it rolled off the pad and onto my abdomen. The design of this pad lends itself to an injury at worst or at best a heck of a bruise, especially during setup or after the last rep when the user is exhausted and losing form, or not paying close attention to balancing the bar.

Worth the money!
Since I started hip thrusts I've had huge green bruises on my hip bones. The squat pad wasn't cutting it, I couldn't increase weight because it hurt so much. This thing is amazing, I'm now thrusting 135lbs no bruising! Booty gains 😜

I Only Leave Reviews When a Product is so Good that I would Feel Guilty if I didn't leave a review.
This thing is AMAZING. its such a simple and smart idea. I havent had a leg day where i feel like I did my best in almost a year because my hip thrust always hurt so much. Im not a large guy and the barbell would hurt my hips, thighs and reproductive system. I finally put my Hip Thrust Pad to the test and I was able to do my Hip Thrust exercises properly. I would love if they made them with smaller branding or no branding and also i bet more colors would be incredible as well. congrats guys, you did grand

Use for 400+ lb hip thrusts
Doing 400 lb hip thrusts at gym really fires up those glutes. Been doing thrusts before squats, and I'm thinking it works. There is no way I would be able to do those without this pad. The high density polyethylene sheet on the top side helps distribute the weight across your lap. The pads they have at the gym are just foam I think so the bar just sinks in. It's a little tough paying 50 bucks for this but it's a must have.

Fav hip thrusting pad
I bought this because I was starting to go heavy with hip thrusts and my regular bar bell pad just wasn’t cutting it. It works perfect! It’s super rugged too. It won’t crack and split like those blue thick pads you can get. We have one at our gym ( blue pad ) and it’s torn to crap. Hardly usable anymore.I’m very happy with this purchase. Deff recommend for anyone who wants to build their glutes with thrusts!

Amazing!
Hip thrusts are my absolute least favorite exercise. I've used folded up towels, yoga mats, barbell pads, etc, and always had lots of pain and bruising across my pelvis. Enter the Hip Thrust Pad! I took it for a spin yesterday and could not believe how comfortable and stable hip thrusts were with it. I will definitely be bringing this little guy with me whenever hip thrusts are in my workout program!

Lift Heavy, Pad Smart
My trainer and I have been working for a week to figure out how we were going to make this less painful. After a couple hours worth of reading reviews, looking at what we had available and making it “work” after hitting 285lbs the barbell was just killing me so much so that I couldn’t do a full set without stopping to adjust. This was a game changer. It stayed in place, alieveated the pain and made it so my focus was on my muscles and not the burning sensation from the barbell.

I had my doubts, but now I'm a believer
Thank you to the other reviewers who helped me make the decision to get this. Looking at it, I thought "Are you kidding? 200 pound hip thrusts, and this thin thing is supposed to keep the bar from digging into my muscles?" But it really does work well.
