Plant Based Protein. Don't love the taste, but decent enough. Blends well.
This protein is plant based, not whey based as a note. I expected this and it was nice to try something new. I won't go into any pros or cons regarding this; you can do your own research. I use a small blender for my protein shakes and it mixes well. The flavor is pleasant, but not exceptional. I do like vanilla flavor, this doesn't quite come across perfectly, but it is palatable. I have finished about three fourths of the powder so far and have had numerous shakes to date. Works as a supplement and I have no complaints so far. Couldn't give it 5 stars as I don't love the taste, but it is decent enough. and it doesn't make me gag (some other protein powders on the market I couldn't even stomach) Great option if you are Vegan or trying to stay away from animal derived protein for whatever reason.

Not a Good Idea
I tried this today and it raised my blood pressure and upset my stomach. When I opened the container there was a pleasant aroma that got my hopes up. I was really looking forward to loving this product. I ignored the lead warning that is in my photo of the label. It’s a concern that that warning is not in the website description, nor does the product label shown on the website include the warning from the package. This is deceptive advertising and should be prohibited by Amazon. I have called Amazon Customer Service and they are refunding my full purchase price.

yummy
This is one of the better-tasting vegan proteins I’ve tried. It blends smooth in a shaker bottle and doesn’t leave that chalky aftertaste a lot of plant powders do. I usually mix it with almond milk and fruit. It’s not overly sweet, which I like, and it keeps me full. Took one star off because it’s a little pricey for the size, but I get why—solid ingredients and no junk.

Plant Based = Chalky Taste and Consistency
This protein powder unfortunately didn’t hit the mark for me in terms of flavor and has a more chalky consistency. While it’s a great option for a plant based intake I’d say that it’s probably more enjoyable to go with a whey based one provided it fits the macros and isn’t a restriction to your diet. Luckily this is a palatable and the texture isn’t the worst. The size of this tub is also great for someone looking to get a decent value. Overall I personally wouldn’t see myself as a returning customer but would consume this provided it’s my last source of protein I need to hit my daily count. Hope the insight helps, Cheers! :^)

Smooth flavor in a good vegan option
My vegan protein options aren't always touted for their flavors but this vanilla one from BlueBonnet does a solid job with the flavor. The flavor works well for the different things I do with my protein powders generally; like overnight oats , smoothies, and pancakes. 8g of fiber is not too shabby along side the 24g of protein. Those are both things I've been focusing on recently trying to get a bit more daily. Mixing goes well enough when put into cold oat milk. Doesn't take a lot of work to get it to dissolve. In both a drink and cooking with it there is a smooth texture.

Pleasantly Surprised – Light & Tasty Vegan Protein
I haven’t had the best luck finding a good vegan protein powder—most of them either feel too heavy or have a really bad aftertaste. I was a bit worried when I first tried this one, especially since I didn’t have any milk on hand and had to mix it with just water. Surprisingly, it tasted pretty good! The flavor was smooth, and it didn’t feel heavy at all after drinking it. I can’t wait to use it in a smoothie and for post-workout recovery—it seems like a great fit for both. Price-wise, it’s up there with other vegan protein powders on the market, but the quality and taste make it feel worth it. I’m really glad I gave it a try!

Whey protein is much more effective. But this is good for vegans.
If you are lifting for gains, this isn't going to do you much better than drinking a glass of whole milk. 24g of plant protein is not a lot and when you account for the transfer, it may not even be that. I am a former professional football player who is no stranger to bulking, muscle building and later leaning out. Is this the type of protein I'd reach for if I was looking to increase performance or size? No. For vegans who cannot have dairy products ... or for people whose stomach can get upset with milk-based whey protein, this will give you at least a little boost after a workout. Add some peanut butter for a little more protein because unless you are talking about light weights or pliometrics, this won't do much to add size or muscle. I don't understand why the fiber and sodium content is so high. Generally, protein shakes tend to make you bloated and a bit gassy. However, the insane amount of fiber in this after a workout will make you want to avoid straying too far from a bathroom in the hours after a workout. Not ideal for a gym break at lunch. The taste of this is pretty good ... its your generic artificially vanilla sugar taste. Protein drinks have become so much better tasting over the years but this one is stuck in the time warp of earlier plain types of flavors. It's not hard to get through a shake ... but nothing I look forward to ... and a tasty treat can be an effective ritual at motivating you not to skip. In terms of blending ... you will need a shaker or blender to effectively blend this. It is a bit clumpy if you don't really give it a shake but less fine than a whey-based protein powder. Value-wise, its organic, so there is a bit of a premium price involved. Certainly there are much cheaper bagged protein powders available in bulk but the plastic canister is nice for on the go and being able to store it without worrying about spillage, etc. Overall, as a 6'4, 230 lb. former athlete ... this isn't ideal for me. I don't love the low protein, high fiber and high sodium. If you are a smaller person looking for a little post-workout maintenence, it will probably be a decent option for you if you aren't down with dairy-based supplements. I hope my honest review was helpful t9 you as a former pro athlete.
