I got this when it was listed for $19 and honestly it's been a pretty great toy for my 5 year olds birthday. Pros: -Can run on short grass in our backyard -Pretty long runtime on the included 500mah batteries (at least 15 min on grass which is harder than a flat surface) -Comes with 2 batteries -About the same speed as my 5 year old can run (5 mph is my guess) -Has survived full speed hits into our fence several times lol -2.4Ghz so you could have more than 2 running at the same time. Cons: -Product title says 2 1000mah batteries and that's wrong (comes with 2 500mah), not a reason to deduct a star for the product though. Seller should fix though. -Steering arm popped off on one hit, but it wasn't broken so I was able to pop it back in. -Turns a little wide for how small it is. I though it would have a much sharper turning radius. -Throttle and steering is not variable, more like "on" or "off" lol. Overall, i'm impressed for the price.

The first one came broken. The replacement broke within a day or 2. I took it apart and found the gear had moved so the motor wasnt engaging. So its back working but it took a while to take it apart cause there are so many tiny screws

I got the Carox 1:16 Scale RC Car for my son, and it’s been a decent toy. It goes pretty fast, which kept him entertained for a while. The dual batteries are convenient, giving around an hour of total playtime before needing to recharge. He’s driven it on different surfaces like grass and gravel, and it handled them fairly well. The suspension system helps it stay stable, though it still gets stuck sometimes on rougher terrain. The build feels sturdy enough, and it hasn’t broken even after a few bumps and falls. It’s made of plastic but seems durable enough for outdoor use. The remote is simple to use and has a decent range. My son enjoys playing with it off and on, mostly in the backyard. Overall, it’s a decent gift option for kids who are into remote control cars.

My nephew got super excited as soon as we turned it on. It’s fast, like, much faster than I expected for a toy in this range. He spent the whole afternoon running it around the living room and the driveway, and I could tell he was really into it. I like that it comes with two speed modes, it’s a nice way for younger kids to start off slow, then go full speed once they get the hang of the controls. It also held up well through a few minor splashes and bumps, so it seems sturdy enough for casual play. The only thing is the battery life... it’s not bad, but I wish it lasted a little longer. We had to recharge it in the middle of playtime. Still, for quick fun and high-energy zooming around the house, it does the job (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Bought 2 cars for my 2 boys, both broke within 48hrs, making them completely unusable.

I ordered this as a vine item and I don't know if I would have risked it otherwise. I was very pleasantly surprised. It has two rechargable batteries, so you can play for longer and each battery supplies a reasonable run-time. Especially since they are basically AA batteries. The car is pretty fast and controls quite well. It works great indoors or on pavement, but is too small to handle grass very well. The car is made of light plastic, but it doesn't feel cheap. For the money, it is a really nice value. I have to say it is way better than the RC cars were when I was a kid. And notably cheaper than those were.
