Worked great! Good price!
We were ready to buy one on eBay for double the cost. So glad we found this one, which worked out well.

Perfect Replacement - Leaking Problem Corrected within Minutes
I decided just to replace the stopper only which just required removing and replacing a securing screw. The other older parts seem to be working correctly and seem to be of better quality than the parts from the "new" kit. (Note: The price of the complete kit was only about a dollar more than buying the just the stopper. However buying the kit gave me an option if I needed the additional parts.) This was a good purchase.

Exact fit for what I replaced.
Went to my local big box store and while I found a multitude of options I couldn’t find this. When I entered brand of toilet and part name it was the first option that came up. Within minutes of receiving I installed it. No issues!!

Fits like the original
Same quality and fit as the original but note that the kit does not include the tank bolt. You will likely have a tank bolt that is corroded and in need of some clever removal techniques to change out the part. I elected to use a waterproof epoxy to stick the base of the unit over the (sanded down) old base ( and bolt) to avoid changing out the tank bolt.

Perfect for our older Eljer!
No more slow leaks here!!If you have an older Eljer and have had trouble with slow leaking using the "universal" flush valves that stick on with plumbers putty, then give this one a try. (Just be sure to really clean off any remnants of the old putty first... mineral spirits works well.)You have to pull the tank to install it with the new bolts (supplied) but it's worth the trouble! It's an EASY job, just more work than you might be thinking of doing. If you replace the tank gasket at the same time you can have a nicely refreshed and working toilet! If you already have the bracket installed on the bolt (or after you do the change out if not), then changing out the stopper part is super-easy!(PS> the plastic part for the handle inserts from the front of the toilet.)

Fixed the Ferguson
I had to find parts for a fifty-year-old toilet. The local parts house can't get these anymore. This is the part that I needed and at a good price.

Get it right the first time for your Eljer toilet- EASY!
The flapper seal is a rubber ball shaped part with a screw on the top for attaching. Nothing like it in the hardware stores.THIS is the part you need, and as only the rubber ball part needed replacing, it took under two minutes to turn off the water supply under the toilet; flush to drain the tank; unscrew the screw holding the old ball and toss them. Put the new ball in place, install the screw, turn water back on and you are done. The fact that it comes with the bracket and arm to hold the flapper seal is a bonus, but some people might need them. It even has a flush handle and chain- sure to be useful as I had replaced that every couple of years, but the ball part was probably 15 years old.So, if you have an ELJER toilet, don't eve think about trying to jury rig some local part that is kinda sorta maybe close if you fiddle with it enough. Just get the right part and be done quickly and right the first time.
