UFE-421 Bytecc 3.5 in. USB3.0-Firewire 400-POWER e-SATA Combo Internal HUB

1. No instructions. There is paper with some info on it, but it's generalized, vague info and not specific to this product.2. Attempting to intuit how to install yields no results. Nothing happens.3. No drivers, no website, and they won't offer a refund unless you start a return request. Who'd want something back they know is scrap parts for a scam sale?I wish more people reported these.

This is a well made unit. The USB 3.0, SATA and USB 2.0 cable were simple enough to install. It took some thinking to translate the signal and identifications of the Firewire pins on the 1394 cable to the 1394 pins on my motherboard. I decided to use a USB block connector to make the connection to the board Firewire pins easier. I'm using a Sabertooth 990FX.The only device I had that used Firewire was an old video camera and everything works great.

I like the concept of the UFE-421, but the extremely poor installation instructions left a lot to be desired. Near as I can tell there is absolutely no support for getting information. I am still trying to find someone or a website that knows how to install.
