Great Nokia with a great price!
I purchased this Nokia 5 to use as a second phone with my third line from T-Mobile. The phone works great! As soon as I turned it on and started the setup – connected to WiFi- the phone started receiving an update. I have read that Nokia uses pure Android and sends updates on regular basis. If you are concerned about security, Nokia phones are one of the most secure Android phones out there. My first experience after the update was great! The phone has absolutely 0 bloatware! I really like the clean android experience and the phone is build like tank with a full metal body. Not many phones give you this quality for this price. The fingerprint reader is also a great addition to security. The phone comes with a headphone jack, so I don’t need to purchase new wireless headphones. The phone works great with T-Mobile, I have both voice over LTE and voice over WiFi so that I can receive and make calls when there is no good signal reception. Overall, I am very happy with this phone and would recommend purchasing.

Amazing value. A power user's 2 week review with sample photos
RIP beloved MotoX 2015My requirements: CHEAP + good camera for indoors, decent hardware, microSD, close to stock Android, and the smaller the better. This fills my requirements with a few caveats:My carrier: Mint* Sometimes SMS doesn't work when using WIFI calling. Turning off WIFI doesn't fix it. You have to reboot the phone. I used WIFI calling with Mint on my MotoX and never had a problem. Maybe an Oreo issue though so no star lost.* Stock camera is pretty bleak. CameraZoom gives better results but it's REALLY sluggish on this phone. I also side loaded the Pixel3's camera, but that locks up the phone about 1/3 of the time. I tried a few others but they didn't improve over stock. The pictures attached are CameraZoom. The reasons I docked a star:* I haven't rooted this phone, but I need to -- 16gb isn't enough to do anything with any modern phone. I root all my phones in order to squeeze the most out of hardware and storage. What irks me is that Nokia still won't unlock the bootloader. So in order to root you have to downgrade to Nougat... ugh. A locked bootloader on a near stock unlocked phone makes me very grumpy.* Phone freezes and locks up on occasion. I don't game or use high demand apps. Hardly multi-task at all. Have patience with this one -- especially if you don't root and tweak.Still a terrific bargain of a phone. Hope this helps. :)

Amazing Value
This phone is a really great value. I love the fingerprint feature and it has a long lasting battery and an amazing camera. The price is a great value for what you get.

bad camera
I was looking for a phone with a good camera since it is always with me and the camera is not. Also easier to load up to Facebook. I read some of the reviews that said the camera was not good. I unfortunately did not take warning thinking they must be comparing to high end cameras. After all, it's a 13MP camera. I wish I had paid attention. The pictures are fuzzy and look like you are a long way from the people. My old 5MP phone took better pictures. I am also having problems swiping to open phone when someone is calling. By the time I finally get it to take they have hung up.

Love my new phone..
I love the screen and it’s thin. The only I don’t like is it does not vibrate as hard as I’m used to with my other phone.

Not a great phone.
Not a great phone that didn't last long. Phone screen became nearly useless after a year of use.Software had many bad dealing choices/ some bugs. Like basically being impossible to see the phone screen during a call, often times things you are listening to will disappear or not appear on the drop down menu, and a few other bad software choices I cannot recall. Last Nokia I will get.Biggest bad part of it was the phone died after one year 8 months use. Screen stopped working. Also limited storage, and slow, but that is a feature of a cheap phone and not a fault.

Good quality. But...
finger scanner takes about 3 seconds to unlock the device. its been 1 week of use, and I am starting to notice the performance issues like apps takes 2-5 seconds to open. And this device is not compatible with kingston sd card type 10 which is latest .
