This is a strong, well made cable. The “Y” section of the cord is robust and won’t pull apart. If you need to convert from a 1/4” plug to 3.5 mm, you need this cable. I use it to take the output of my stage piano and input it to a small 3.5 mm preamp for practice. Great cable!!!

I ordered this cable to replace the very thin stock cable that shipped with my Edifer G2000 computer speakers. I immediately noticed dramatic bump-up in sound quality after swapping out the stock wire for this Dukabel. This is not my first experience with Dukabel products; they've never disappointed me in the past, and this 3.5mm cable is no different. I'm a big believer in cable upgrades - some say this is snake oil but I know for a fact that a thin, flimsy wire is going to produce insubstantial sound. The Dukabel is robust and durable and best of all it simply delivers excellent audio quality for the money. This upgrade is well worth the small monetary investment. Recommended!

I was looking back at my past Amazon purchases and I realized I bought this cable 13months ago. It has been working great in the car stereo AUX port for over a year! It's been stepped on and sat on by people in the passenger seat and has never shorted out! I wrote the below review back when I first got this cable and it's still holding true! Great cable for the price!"I was looking for an inexpensive AUX cable to connect my iPhone to my car stereo AUX port. Looked good in the pictures and it looks good in real life. Braided cable makes the cable sturdy and not flimsy. I liked the sturdy jacks. I imagine the gold plated connectors are a plus as my iPhone played nice through the car stereo the very first time. The previous cable I had - from a different manufacturer - was not braided. When the previous cable was plugged horizontally in the car stereo jack, the weight of the cable made the cable bend at a right angle at the stereo jack which caused the sound to cut in and out. This Dukabel cable is holding up good so far. Time will tell if the braiding will be durable enough to keep it from bending at the stereo jack and ultimately keep a solid connection to the iPhone. It looks like it should hold up under normal use. Good product!"
