Good saint statues are difficult to find anymore, and statues of Dominican saints are close to impossible. The statue is made of cheap plastic from China. Since China has been persecuting Catholics it is odd that they would be making statues to begin with.At any rate, the head on this is to big for the rest of the statue, and the infant Jesus is rather funny looking. The painting of the statue is poor to say the least.But if you just want something cheap, then by all means get this one. But if you want something devotional that looks great, then this is not for you. Pax!
