Bought this for child child after an ankle injury because insurance wanted too much for such little time. The docs thought it was well made and approved my child to use it. It's also approved a day early so that was a plus.

Easy to use and sturdy, I thought it was going to be something big and heavy but light weight and easy to clean

Wish this had better instructions.
The instructions weren’t very clear on how to fasten properly but this boot did the job.

A Lifesaver for My littel Daughter's Recovery!
I recently purchased the Braceapedia Pediatric Buddy Boot for my little daughter after she unfortunately got hurt. I cannot express how much this boot helped her during her recovery! It provided the support she needed for her foot and ankle, allowing her to feel more comfortable and secure while she healed. The boot is well-made and clearly designed with kids in mind. It fit her perfectly, and the adjustable straps made it easy to get a snug fit without causing any discomfort. She was able to walk around with much more confidence, and it significantly assisted in her recovery.

Heavy-duty, very well made, thick-soled, thick-padded.
There are 2 main layers to this brace boot. First, the outer boot, which appears to be made from either a robust form of plastic or a hardened rubber. This outer boot consists of the foot pad and tread, the side bar braces, and buckles with velcro straps. The boot tread is hardened and noticeably deep, which is helpful for preventing any further falls or injury. The side bars are hardened and stiff, as bracing should be, but also not super thick. But they do have some cute childhood themed designs carved into them. The buckles are again made of plastic. The velcro straps are a fair width, and are surprisingly generous in length. Thier velcro grip is absolutely amazing and strong. It takes me quite a bit of effort to pull them apart. However, please do note that I am also a disabled person with some included wrist problems. Therefore, while the velcro is indeed very strong, other users still might have an easier time pulling it apart than I do.The second main layer is the inner padding, which appears to be made from a sort of spongee foam or neoprene-like material. It does compress a bit when pressed or squeezed, and then rebounds when released. Also, it's quite thick, though I don't think it reaches a full inch, but just under that. This padding layer does extend upwards with the boots side bar, plus the bottom of the foot pad is also padded with it.While this material is comfortable to stand upon, I unfortunately must stop my assessment before describing the comfort of walking on it, or the boot's generalized effectiveness. That is because this boot is sized for pediatrics while I'm an adult. The boot fits me only well enough to put it on and test it's generalized wearable comfort, but not the walking.Overall, though, I do believe this will be a great brace boot for families to have in thier stockpile. Just in case it's ever needed on a day when the local doctor or pharmacy is closed or out of brace supplies. Just be mindful that you get the right size.5 out of 5 stars.

It’s just in case
My son eats a little bit extreme and he’s a little troublemaker. He’s been hitting himself over the place so I bought one of those just in case he gets hurt because he is a very active boy. He is two years old and I’m glad that we didn’t have to use it yet but it fits nicely and it’s going to fit our 3 1/2 years old daughter and she’s tiny. I hope we don’t need to use it but at least we have any we need it.
