So far is good.
Easy to calibrate sound once installed, I use this for highs and mids and it is a good bang for your buck so far, I’m running it with a Kenwood deck, infinity’s 5x7”s rear 6” pioneers front, and Cerwing Vega tweeters ( what my budget allowed me to purchase) and they work flawless with this amp, running my lows on a mono amp for subwoofer gain and 0 loss. This one is really good for a low budget system, and you can’t go wrong with the sound quality for the price!!I’ll update if anything goes wrong, so far so good.

Pretty good amp
I use this amp for two 10 kicker CVRs Pushs them real well. It does get pretty hot after about an hour and goes to protect mode. The 10s are dual voice and are wired parallel.

Good sound
I learned that for the sound I looking for I need a 1 to 2 ohm amplifier for the speaker I have. I sent it back. It said it will run on 2 ohm but it overheated so I sent it back and got my refund for now. I will be getting something but ran low on money this month.

Do not buy.
Before you buy read me out. I bought this amp because it provide good "power" for the value. The first thing I did was to properly wire this amp to an SMD dyno tester this way you can check the actual power rating and validate before installing if there is something wrong with the amp (power wise). This amp made less than 1/4 of its wattage rating, after digging more and doing some math the fuses does not allow the amp to provide the watt advertise wattage rating. You would be better off spending $200 to $250 dollars that are actually under rated amps than this. A 2000 watts skar amp can make 2,200-2,300 watts easily. I'm no Joe from the Jungle when it comes to car audio and I actually dyno all amps that goes in my or anyone else's car, first and last time buying boss.

Not bad, just not what I expected
If your an Automotive Audio Tech, enthusiast, hobbyist or if your in the market for an Amp and have done your homework, you are most likely aware of the Boss Amps and their infamous bloated Watt ratings. Many tests have been done (Videos are readily available) showing just how ridiculous their rated numbers are, that being said …I actually like the Boss amps for some of my customers that are on a budget depending on certain variables of course. As for use in my vehicles, I do like the Boss for the features mainly the control knobs and switches and what they offer. Being that I personally don't only listen to hard pounding base rap.... "music" (for lack of a better word) so the mode switch for full range sound is a "must have" for me (hard to find on most mono block amps) This amp was a purchase for my daily driver, which sometimes doubles as my sound check "laboratory" 2005 E55 Benz excellent large trunk that has great acoustics with a proper box. Anyway I was running 2 Kicker Comp 12's on the Boss R1100M Riot in my old but still favorite "personal best build ever, I will never get rid of ported box" it was omitting quite an impressive hard hitting sound with very decent clarity considering the 191 watt @ 2 ohm it was ACTUALLY putting out according to my SMD So, me being me I thought lets try this "400 watt increase" Boss 1500W amp while actually hoping to up my realistic output number over the 300W mountain (for Boss 300W is a moutain lol) Well, I have not put it on the meter just yet but, I can say the increase in power and "Feel" is minimal at best, as a matter of fact after a few days cruising I'm convinced the 1500W Elite puts out no more "Punch" than the 1100M Riot output? Luckily Boss's best feature is the price! I will reapply it to someone's system that does not require a REAL1000 watts of power and will give them a fantastic deal on this Baby Boss.. As for my Benz ....I will see how long the older comp 12's hold up to the CT Sounds CT-1500.1D amp I'm about to order!
