This hair mask works incredibly well and really leaves my hair feeling amazing however, I can’t quite get over the fragrance. It’s incredibly strong, so much that even my husband noticed it and it lingered until my next wash. I do think it really improved my hair texture, even after my next wash, which I really liked. I’d use it occasionally because it works so well, particularly after lots of styling or going to the beach when my hair needs nourishment, but the fragrance will likely prevent me from making this part of my hair routine.

I ordered this Ecolchi Collagen Hair Mask Deep Repair Conditioning Moisture Shea Butter Collagen Hair Treatment for Dry and Damaged Hair All Hair Types 5.4fl.oz 160ml because I was looking for a treatment mask for my dry, limp midwinter hair.My hair often gets dry in midwinter; this year it’s been limp, too. Some of this could be because it’s been a rough few months; I had surgery, spent time in the hospital, got sick a few times—all of that is showing in my hair, which looked as tired as I felt. (I also hadn’t been eating much, which can affect hair’s appearance.). This deep repair mask said it worked on dry and damaged hair, so I decided to give it a try.This deep conditioning mask is made with shea butter and keratin. It’s thick and creamy in texture and clings to the hair. The instructions recommend applying it to clean, damp hair, and leaving it on for 10-15 minutes. I put my hair up in a shower cap for that time; when I took it off to rinse, all the product was still on my hair, none in the shower cap.When I rinsed my hair, it felt super soft and smooth; no tangles. I have long, curly hair; usually part of my shampoo/conditioning ritual includes patiently working out a few tangles. Not this time. My hair was slippery soft in my hands, easy to work with.I let my hair air dry; I’ve been laying off the blow dryer and flat iron recently since my hair looked so dry and frizzy. When dry, there were two or three tiny areas that were slightly stiff from product; I combed them out, and they were soft again. My hair had dried in lovely long ringlets instead of the dry, frizzy bush of the recent weeks.My hair has always had a mind of its own. Sometimes it’s a 2C curl, sometimes it’s a 3A. Sometimes it goes rogue and gets chaotic. After using this mask, I could see a difference in how my hair looked; instead of dry, it looked hydrated and soft to me. Instead of frizzy, it felt smoother to my fingers.This product has a pleasant light scent; I can’t quite describe it, but it’s slightly floral and slightly perfumey. I don’t like strong smelling hair products, and this wasn’t overwhelming at all, more fresh and clean. If you prefer unscented hair products, this may not be for you, as it has a distinct, though pleasing scent. After rinsing, my hair had a lighter whiff of the scent; I could still smell it on the second day after using the mask.I repeated the hair mask a second time a few days later; I gave myself a face mask at the same time for a half hour of home spa deep hydration. The thick, creamy mask stuck to my hair, even when I forgot to rinse after fifteen minutes. I finally rinsed it off after about half an hour; once again, my hair was slippery and soft as I rinsed it clean.I like the results I saw when using this deep repair mask on my dry winter hair… now I’m curious to see how well it works on my hair in the hot, humid summertime.This came in a tall tube that held about 5 1/2 ounces of product, enough for many applications.

This product did wonders for my post-partum hair. The tube has generous amount of product that I was able to apply into my hair daily for months. The effect is immediate, and my hair feels nourished and silky-smooth after washing. The scent of the product is on a stronger side, but nothing more than what I would expect from salon-quality hair products.

This hair mask conditioner works well. I have very long hair and did not require much to cover it all. The directions say to apply to towel dried hair and leave on for 10-15 minutes. I used this in the shower and didn't have to leave it on very long. My hair was very silky and easy to comb and did dry quicker than usual. However - the scent is very strong of perfume. It's a bit exotic smelling. The smell was not for me. Even when my hair dried, I could still smell it the next day.

One thing I will point out is the scent is very heavy. Not in a good way either. Im not going to use this because I find the smell of it unpleasant and while the product may be packed with silicones to soften a smooth hair that's also a turn off to me as well. I prefer products that penetrate and actually improve the condition of hair rather than mask it.. Its a nope for me.

This hair mask treatment actually works quite well in giving your hair some much needed moisture. It’s thick and creamy and very coating and although it says to use on the bottom half of your hair I use it all over. Some of these hair masks make the top of your head greasy when used up there, but not this one. I use it all over in place of conditioner and leave on for ten minutes. It rinses cleanly and my hair feels soft and smooth afterwards with less static and tangles. Before buying you should know this hair mask has a very strong scent much like men’s cologne. I think it smells great but someone sensitive to smells may find it a bit too overpowering.
