Convenient, Versatile, Easy To Use and Clean
Although this is labeled as a rice cooker and works fabulously as such (1.5 cups of rice makes enough for 3), I've also used it like a mini crockpot and cooked full meals for two. For example:- Buy a sushi making kit and together, you have an easy, affordable Family Sushi Night.- Add pre-cooked chicken to a cup of rice, add onion, garlic, and chicken bouillon to taste, and you have a quick chicken and rice dinner.- Make a small batch of bone broth by starting in cook mode and letting it stay in warm mode 12-24 hours (overnight to a day). Just make sure to check the water level and scoop off fat/foam as needed. This gadget is great for anyone who struggles with ADD, someone who is so busy they sometimes forget they need to cook or are cooking, parents who want to teach kids self-sufficiency, college students who want to make healthier food, older or injured individuals with limited mobility, and anyone who just wants good, fresh food without a lot of effort. It's so easy to use: there's only one button and once the food is done, it automatically switches to warm mode. There is no open flame so there's a lot less chance of disaster. You can also make soups, spaghetti, ramen, rehydrate dehydrated meals, and more at home and on the go using a portable power station in this little 200 watt rice cooker.

Great for college
I bought this for my sister to take to college. I received one my first year and I use it all the time. It makes the perfect amount of rice for one person in about 20 min. It’s easy to use with fill lines inside the bowl and it comes with a measuring cup for the rice. Once you add everything all you have to do is push down on the switch and it’ll keep it warm until you’re ready to eat. Afterwards it’s super easy to wash you just pop out the bowl and wash it in the sink. You can also make soups and stews in it. It’s great value for the price and perfect for college meals when you might not have the time to cook or access to a stove. It also cooks very evenly and the rice is never undercooked.

Works great and fast. Able to make chicken soup, onion soup, lentil soup, so much. Convenient and does not take up too much space at all. Perfect for my office.

Good Cooker, but Too Small for My Needs
I recently purchased the DASH Mini Rice Cooker Steamer and overall, it works great for small meals. The removable nonstick pot is easy to clean, and the Keep Warm function is really convenient. It heats up quickly and does a great job cooking grains, oatmeal, and even small soups and stews.Pros:✔️ Compact & Easy to Store – Perfect for small kitchens or apartments.✔️ Simple to Use – The one-button operation makes it easy for anyone to use.✔️ Quick Cooking – Heats up fast and does a great job with grains and small meals.✔️ Nonstick Pot – Makes cleaning a breeze!✔️ Affordable – A great budget-friendly option for cooking small portions.Cons:➖ Too Small for Larger Meals – While it's great for 1-2 servings, it's too small if you’re cooking for more than that. It only makes about 2 servings, so I find it doesn't meet my needs when I need to cook for more people.➖ Limited Features – While it does its job well for smaller portions, it's not as versatile as larger rice cookers for bigger meals.Final Thoughts:This is a perfect mini cooker for individuals or small households, but it might not be the best option if you need to cook for more than two people. It's great for quick, small meals, and if you're looking for a compact option, this is a solid choice! Would be perfect for someone living alone or as a secondary cooker for small meals.

MUST HAVE for meals for one and tracking macros!
The media could not be loaded. I have been undergoing an attempt at body recomposition over the last year and have been tracking my food intake, calories and macros diligently for the last year and a half as well as doing dedicated weight training 3x week. The old saying goes, "abs are made in the kitchen" and it couldn't be more true. No matter how heavy and consistently I lift, I have to hit my food targets if I want the greatest success! What makes it even more difficult is my husband and son aren't exactly doing this with me and don't like to eat the way I eat, so I make a lot of meals for 1. One of my go to dinners is heirloom organic black (forbidden) rice with chicken and broccoli. I only ever eat 1/3 C to 1/2 C of uncooked rice so, I absolutely LOVE having this itsy bitsy teeny weeny rice cooker for that purpose! Yes, I could make large batches of rice one day a week and just heat up how much I want each time I eat it, but truth be told, I like the taste of freshly cooked rice so much better. However, I don't want to use my monster size food steamer/rice cooker for 1/3 C of black rice. This really is the PERFECT size!!The only thing I have found through experimentation that doesn't exactly jive with the instructions is that when you're cooking 1/3-1/2 C of uncooked rice (black or brown) you still need AT LEAST 1 C of water or it will come out undercooked and slightly crunchy. Using 1 C of water makes it come out perfectly every time in about 30-40 minutes.I also love that the cooking bowl is black so that my black rice doesn't stain. It's a simple little gadget and immediately starts "warming" as soon as you plug it in. I wish you could plug it in and then turn it on, but it only has two settings, "warm" and "cook". As soon as it's done cooking, it immediately switches to "warm" which is where it will stay until you unplug it. I love how easy it is to store and how little precious real estate it takes up in my kitchen cupboards! I use it at least twice a week and so far it works like an absolute champ every time! I also love the adorable color and the rice scoop it comes with. It couldn't be easier to use and clean.I sincerely hope this review has been helpful for someone else! And yes, I paid full price for it. Feel free to ask any questions!
