After installing a veritable arsenal of solar panels on my desert home, the local feral pigeon population quickly viewed my roof as a much-needed respite from the desert's searing summer heat. I can't blame them, but I also can't have an invasive species crowding out our native birds (like quails and jays) from the bird feeders or have them pooping all over my cars and solar panels, which they have. I have spent far too many hours on ladders cleaning poop off panels, but I do not want to cover my home in visually gross spikes. I have had this glue on my roof not since April, and it is still working. Granted, depending on the size of your home, you may need to use a lot to ensure there are no suitable roosting sites, but what I love about this product is that it is safe for all wildlife. We often get owls, hawks, and road runners passing through and a solution that has zero impact on wildlife like this one is exactly what we were looking for. Once in place, the glue is not visible from the street other than a slight sparkle of light when first applied coming off its reflected surface, which I would say is barely noticeable at all if you did not know it was there.

I have used the product before and it works well. But, this time, I ordered a case of 12 tubes, but after 2 months I only received 1 tube!!! How do you screw that up?

I read thru the reviews, and I must say the the complaints seemed to be the product didn’t come as ordered. Well, I tried the product, used as directed , applied everywhere that I fight with birds roosting:from porch, patio, satellite dish,hot tub fence, gate arm, patio furniture covers to name a few. I have used long spikes, short spikes, chimes, nothing worked. THIS PRODUCT worked for me. I can’t recommend it more highly. I had a bird try ONCE on my front porch, he left behind a bunch of feathers, but hasn’t been back, and the picture I included of the light string caught one bird's feathers and he and his friends haven’t been back since! I applied the product August 20, 2024 and it’s now 9/18/24. I’ve used one tube so far. I live in a very rural area north east San Luis Obispo County CA. And leave peacefully with many critters, now I can with birds. PS. As a reviewer mentioned, this is very STICKY so beware when you come down from the ladder🤦‍♀️

I have been using for 7 years and the birds RUN from this. It will last about 1 year before you have to re-apply. It is WORKS!!!! Stop using all those things that say they work. Use this because it does WORK!!!

My husband has tried many ways of keeping the birds out of his mom’s carport. We started with a fake owl then went to plastic fencing in the nesting areas. The birds seemed to like their owl friend and found ways around the fencing. They were sitting on the rafters pooping everywhere the whole time. The Bird X took a while to apply but the birds don’t like it and have moved on. It’s been almost two weeks since application. We will see how long it lasts.

This product is great, I ordered it from Amazon in the past and had no issues. It's ridiculous that they wouldn't reach out to tell you that they are not going to be able to fill your order. In my case, they only sent me 2 out of the 36 I ordered, then I was told the order was filled. I spent $100 on this product and received 2, then I have to drive an hour away to return the order they screwed up.

This product worked better than a variety of other methods I tried to get rid of pigeons.

Major pigeon problem for the last four years, as long as we've owned the house. Tried pigeon spikes, which help but they are unsightly and we had areas under alcoves on the roof that were too large of an area to install spikes [and would have had to anchor spikes to the roof itself, drilling holes in roof--not a good idea]. Tried Bird-X gel [I call it pigeon slime] a week ago, and for the first time we do not have a bunch of pigeons all over our roof and poop all over our deck. A couple of times I have found pigeon footprints on a table or the deck, where they had gotten it on their feet on the roof then flew down to the deck and walked around. It was easy to clean up with paint thinner. Apparently they get it on their feet once or so, and avoid the roof after that. It has only been a week, so I'm anxious to see how long this stuff lasts on the roof through winter snows, etc. Even if I have to reinstall once a year or so, it is worth it!
