Cute, functional , and surprisingly resilient
I wanted a solution to the plants suffering from intense sun. I wasn’t sure if these would be too cutesy, but I like them. Since they are in the front yard, I didn’t want industrial looking shade to solve the issue. I would advise bringing them in when you have very windy weather. I definitely had to go look for them when we had a surprise storm with 50 mph wind. Only one got bent a little and lost the bottom stand!

Prevent leaf scorch
We all say it looks like our plants are on vacation! Does such a great job for my hydrangeas and hybrid tea roses here in Texas :-)

Rips easily in strong wind, be sure to tie them down
These work pretty well ,assemble easily, but they'll break if left out in a strong wind. We lost one because it blew away and we couldn't figure out a way to chain it down.Otherwise, works fine.

They look good but I am still waiting on summer to try them.
The two umbrellas assemble well but we are still dealing with snow, rain, ice, sun, clouds, Spring, winter….I didn’t even know something like this existed. I was using umbrellas I clamped to beach chairs. These can be stuck in the ground to give my baby dogwood a fighting chance if we get another cycle of blazing hot sun again this summer. I can even see them helping plants that are newly planted. From what I can tell right now I think the umbrellas will hold up well during hot summer days. Fingers crossed we don’t get any majostraightvline winds.

They may seem silly, but they work great.
They may seem silly, but they work great. My flowers in the garden on really hot days start to die and I have used these to help keep the sun of them on the days where we are 80 plus degrees. They help a lot. Those who love their gardens will appreciate these.

Won’t work
The umbrella post has no screw to grab the next post. so if u slide the post in, it just falls back out. You would have to tape it together with duct tape! Ridiculous. I put the umbrella in my potted plant with out the extension post any way and used a string to attach to the porch and it still blew away across the yard. Waste of money, so disappointing.

As promised
Exactly as described. Using to shade hostas now that we have removed the tree that previously provided shade. Have ordered another. My wish would be for a larger umbrella so I wouldn't need three but this works for now.

Their ok
They are ok. Not good in the wind. I find them scattered around the yard when its windy. I need to find a way to secure them, so they stay put.
