I bought a family room computer for simple tasks like google searches and excel sheets. I didn't spend a lot of money because of this. The computer ended up being so slow that nobody even bothered to use it. I watched in task manager and it never showed the 8 gigs of ram being fully utilized. I took a chance and bought this because it matched what was all ready used by this PC.I can't believe the difference it made. I will now chose this PC over my laptop and so will the rest of the family. This literally saved me from just buying another computer and changed a secondary computer into the most used one.

Just popped this memory chip with a Kingston 250 GB M.2 PCle NVMe SSD on my Lenovo Ideapad 330s 15IKB. Not that I was expecting lightning speeds, but it's definitely zippy compared to a 4GB RAM. Worth every cent - and I thought I needed a technician. Hahaha. Girls you can do this! )

I had 4GB but only one memory slot. This gave me 8GB, the most my laptop can utilize, at about 1/2 the cost of memory from the laptop manufacturer.

Extra RAM is awesome for any task you do on your laptop. Keep in mind to have your BIOS updated and the proper settings on your msconfig if you are a Windows user.

Works great in my Dell 17 inch inspiron 5770 notebook. It gave me a total of 16 gigs of memory

Installing the Kingston ram was a breeze in my ThinkPad E580. Never had a problem with Kingston.

I have the 2017 iMac with 27 inch screen. Straight from Apple it came with 8Gb of Emory. Using Lightroom and any other programme the machine was slow and I even mentioned to my Apple dealer that my old iMac seemed to work faster. The answer was to add more memory. I purchased 2 x 8Gb so in all I now have 24 GB of memory installed.The iMac is pretty easy to upgrade and after a little hesitation I went about the task and within a few minutes the computer was up and running faster and better than ever.I upgraded with 2 x 8Gb Kingston memory cards. If you go to the Kingston site you follow their guides and hey presto you are give the right choice for your computer with the choice of buying the memory direct or through Amazon or another supplier. I, of course, chose Amazon.The cost of the upgrade is about 1/3rd of the price of having Apple add that memory when you buy the computer. Why I ask.Anyways, excellent upgrade, fast delivery and I am a happy bunny.
