TV Box, H96MAX X2 Android 9.0 TV Box with Voice Remote 4G 64G 4K Stream Media Player Support 2.4G/5G WiFi

Ive owned about 20 different android boxes over the last few years ranging in price from $30 to $100 and they all seem to have their flaws. However this one has absolutely none. Most of these things come with a jenky cheap garbage remote that doesn't work very well forcing you to get a wireless mini keyboard but this remote is super premium. It has a nice weight to it and doesn't feel cheap and best of all it WORKS!!! The voice control works great and lets you open and close apps on the fly as well as what the weather is gonna be like or whatever you want to ask it. The box itself is the fastest I've seen yet. The chipset in this thing is much better than the average chipset. For instance I like to watch movies on KODI but when running a 4k stream all the other boxes would buffer and act all wonky. This bad boy runs 4k flawlessly. It will stream Netflix in 1080 and Youtube in 4k HDR10 and Dolby vision.....thats unherard of especially at this pricepoint. I paid $70 and have no regrets whatsoever. This runs on the android OS which is unlike most boxes. The only thing I can say negative about the android OS is that some of the apps require the use of a mouse so you might wanna grab a cheap wireless mouse in case you wanna use some of those apps such as showbox. All in all the only thing that tops this is the nvidia shield because it plays high end video games but that thing is over $200 and if I wanna play games I turn on my xbox. As far as using this for movies, sports, news, and tv channels its definitley the best value on the market. If you cant find anything on the NewPal M8s pro L try looking up the Meecool M8s pro L. They are the exact same thing and I know because I have one of those too. Super fast box that is worth every penny......WAY TO GO NEWPAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE UNIT ITSELF IS VERY COMPACT COMPARING TO OUR OTHER STREAMING BOXES HERE IN OUR HOUSE. ITS WIFI CONNECTION PROVIDES THE SPEED OF 50 TO 60 MBS WHICH IS ACCEPTABLE. WE HOPE TO SEE NETFLIX ISSUES RESOLVED SOONER.

What a nice little android tv box this is. It was easy to install onto my tv and it's easy to operate. I plugged it in to my tv with the provided cable, plugged it in to the wall outlet, and it started right up. The remote works well and can even control my tv volume, which is a big plus for me. Has a very crisp picture quality, too. The box came with some apps already preloaded, like Netflix, Youtube and others. And it was easy to download other apps from the app store. Very happy with it

The specs look good. But, I am very frustrated with this box. Maybe it's not the box. Maybe it's the OS I am looking at. the default screen/launcher is just big ugly blocks that... seems like it cannot be customized. I can't get rid of the giant netflix, youtube, and play store tile. I also have an nvidia shield. It has a nice home screen that works with the remote without even me thinking about it. I thought that is the interface for adroid tv, or android 9 or whatever.I installed amazon prime video from the play store. It installed the regular android version. I cannot find or figure out how to install the android TV version. The remote sucks with with, and I can't get it to select and play the video with the remote... I can't even tell what I am picking because nothing gets highlighted. The app is assuming you are going to use a touch screen.It is the same story for HBO go. It also installs the regular android version... the remote is useless with the regular android apps.I checked the OTA, but that does nothing. It just says "Check failed! :Check your OTA service argent" (No, I did not miss spell agent...)Is there a manual for this thing? I googled and googled... and giving up.I figured I'd get this and connect it to the TV in the den. I want to throw the remote at the box.Very frustrated...(I attached 2 pictures. #1, which is the screen it came with. #2 is what I thought android TV is supposed to look like).

Hooked this up to a projector and I have never turned on my T.V. again.Then the updates came and things started to not work.The media stream apps Netflix, Amazon Videos stopped working.The support would not reply to my requests.NewPal are not a dedicated Steaming box company. They are a third party vendor that specializes in electronic retail, not support.There are no updates or patch fixes for the NewPal version of the M8S Pro t.v. box.Very disappointed.

Get one one, pure quality and comes with a uk plug.

Bought it in 2019 does not work properly and no updates it stops working after 20 minutes
