Gogogate 2 Ultimate Gate Kit - Open, close and watch your gate remotely with a Smartphone app (iPhone/Android), iFTTT or with voice with Amazon Alexa and Google Home

These are nice looking, sturdy units. BUT, if you cannot install them, what good are they? I tried for days to install my GoGoGate unit, but to no avail (I followed the instructions carefully, contacted my wifi provider to be sure I had the correct setup, and I tested the distance to the unit from my router.) Frustrated with failure, I contacted customer service by email. They have NO TELEPHONE number, so you cannot talk to a live person. They did respond to each of my emails, but not until the next day (that may seem quick to them, but it is frustratingly long when you are trying to install something). When they responded, they did offer assistance, even sending me a replacement part, but never with adequate INSTRUCTIONS. Still, after another week of effort, the unit did not work. Perhaps I am not the most technically proficient person, but as a professional photographer I am not a novice either. Finally, I just gave up and returned the unit and camera. Disappointing.

I live in a rural community where we have a remote gate. Tried several options to monitor the entrance and open and close the gate. None worked effectively. Gogogate 2 was the solution we were looking for. The product does the job reliably consistently. It does require a robust internet connection. Installation costs were greater than I expected. About 4 to 5 times the cost of the product.
