I chose this particular sample because it has both a fuse and an on/off switch. I don't know if either of them will really come in handy at a given point but I wanted them available. I like having this in my starlink mini kit because it is yet another option for power and having a mini is all about flexibility and options. Also I have a whole bunch of the M18 batteries so it's nice to be able to have another use for that system.Read other reviews for cautions on battery drain; I can't add anything beyond that. There is no low voltage cut off. Which means it can drain your battery down to nothing which in turn will make it difficult but not impossible to charge. Matter of fact there is absolutely no smarts inside it as can be seen in the attached picture. However, do note that the soldering job is top notch. Plenty of solder and we'll done.There are plenty of other vendors selling pretty much the same things under different brands and for different prices. This one was over of the cheapest.I'm using it with a voltage step down regulator for a telescope and so far so good.

We used this for out daughters eletric yard car she likes to take on the road in. Its easy to assembly, attatches securely and strong. The provided connectors are simple and easy to use and over all it functions well.

This is a nice little charging kit. I was very thankful that other reviewers mentioned that it could drain my battery so that I could be aware that it could happen, and take precautions, as I'm really new to this sort of thing. Otherwise, this was very easy to use, and charged the battery for my paint sprayer very nicely. I am very pleased with this charger. I would recommend this to others as well, as it is very competitively priced and appears to work well without any defects or other issues.

This “hat” allows powering arbitrary things with a Milwaukee M18 battery. The hat is spliced into a Starlink-style cable with a barrel terminal using off-brand Wago-style connector. You can easily unplug the cable and splice something else. The battery hat has 12AWG wire, which should provide plenty of current for most applications. The Starlink cable appears to be of smaller gauge - possibly 18awg, which should be plenty. The item comes with 3 30amp fuses, but does not come with mounting screws for the “hat”, though any screws would do.The main issue to be aware with this and other similar “adapters” is that they make no provisions for battery undervoltage monitoring. M18 batteries rely on tool communication to prevent running them “dry” and without this protection it is possible to discharge the battery all the way to where you would not be able to charge it anymore (lookup “jumpstarting m18 battery” if you ever damage yours like this). So, even though this adapter is perfectly usable, you need to make sure to keep an eye on the charge or get an undervoltage protector which is not particularly expensive and should have been included in this kit.

This is replacing a 3D printed M18 adapter. The terminals are nice and soldered directly to the board. The built-in switch is nice. The unit snaps securely to the battery with no play. I am not using with a starlink, so cannot comment on that

This powers the starlink mini from a Milwaukee M18 battery. The battery holder is sturdy and fits the battery well. It locks in place like it should. I like the inline fuse and I REALL appreciate the on/off switch on the battery holder. I much prefer this location rather than the inline version.It does not have a low voltage disconnect so I will add one myself to protect the batteries. The included solderless quick connector will make that an easy modification.Overall this does what I need - get power for my starlink mini from my M18 batteries.

Used this to hot rod a power wheels from 12 to 18v with a milwaukee 18v battery. Worked great, adapter fits snug and everything functions as expected. Would use again, makes for a great value when you already have the batteries and chargers.
