I use this for an hour long hot yoga class. I felt that it dose an alright enough job at staying in place- i do find myseld kicking it back into place occasionally- but I've used better towels. This isn't very thick and I could kind of feel the beads under my knees when doing lunge poses. It's light so carrying it was easy. It also shows sweat quite visibly but does absorb it after a while.

This towel is SO huge. I love it! It's also grippy and doesn't slip at all. I practice 5 days/week and my pedicures were getting ruined from the floors at my studio. Not anymore. This towel is so extra fabulous that I tuck a few inches under the front of my mat and still have several inches of extra mat hanging over the back. Perfect for Rabbit Pose. Also, a lot of the newfangled (aka NOT carpet) flooring is so smooth it's really hard to get a good grip for final twist. This mat solves all of those problems. I'm only 5'8", but having this 88" mat has benefited my regular practice greatly. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

Love the size of the XL and also love the orange color but the little anti slip dots on the bottom are painful even with a good yoga mat underneath. I was expecting something like the nice rubber like dots on the bottom of a Yogitoes towel but these are much smaller and hard plastic instead of soft rubber, kinda like BB's or something. In downward dog, the beads left a patterned imprint on my hands. I work in construction so my hands are not particularly soft or sensitive but I found this towel to be too uncomfortable to use in yoga.

I have used the MyQuest Hot Yoga Microfiber towel for hot vinyasa yoga and more athletic yoga sculpt classes for about a month. The towel performs very well in soaking up the sweat that rolls off my body during these classes. I no longer worry about slipping by the end of class. The towel is soft and absorbent. The gripping nubs on the bottom do sometime temporarily leave dimples on my hands and/or knees, but the extra grip is well worth the minor discomfort. The towel still moves around a little bit during the more active phases of class, especially during yoga sculpt. I had the idea to sew small elastic bands diagonally in the corners in order to secure the towel to the corners of my yoga mat. See photo. These have worked great and there is no movement by the towel. I recommend this towel to a hot yoga practice.

I am very disappointed in this towel. The grippy dots on the underside do not cling to the two mats that I tried it on. It bunches up under my feet every time I move through vinyasa and slips under my hands during downward facing dog. I have experimented with this towel for seven days and over 11 hours of yoga and will not be using it again. I have tried it dry and also watering it down before practice and it still yields the same results. It is more of a distraction than I care for in my practice. I am hoping the company will refund my money.

Great hot yoga towel! I have a Yogitoes and Gaiam...like this one the best. It's slightly thinner than yogitoes, but longer and slightly wider so absorption is about the same...bumps on bottom are bigger, so traction is better. Could be slightly thicker for better absorption, but all in all a great towel for hot yoga.

This towel has a bunch of little dots on the back that are supposed to have it stick to your yoga mat. The towel doesn't stay put in my experience and the little dots leave marks on me when I do camel or other poses. I wanted a cheaper towel then the Gaiam which has the whole back coated in rubber, I was so annoyed with this mat that I purchased the Gaiam afterwards. Save your money, I wished I could return it after I tried it.

The silicon dots on the back of this mat were very hard and not very grippy because of that. The towel said XL and my mat is larger too, but this towel was enormous.
