Expectations & Purchase Background A few months ago, I purchased the ICECO GO20 specifically for camping trips in my Jeep. My main goal was to find a compact, rugged fridge that could reliably keep food cold or frozen, whether powered by the Jeep’s 12V outlet or a portable power station. Performance & Day-to-Day Use The fridge has been riding in the back of my Jeep through various camping trips and off-road excursions. It plugs in easily, cools down fast, and both zones can be accurately set for refrigeration or freezing. The unit’s app is straightforward—connecting and adjusting temperatures from my phone has been seamless. The controls on the fridge itself are also intuitive. Pros - Cools and freezes quickly, even after powering off for a while - App control is user-friendly (Bluetooth), and manual controls are simple - Fits nicely in the back of a Jeep without taking up excessive space - Dual zone allows for keeping drinks chilled and food frozen at the same time - Quiet operation, doesn’t disturb sleep in the tent at night - Build seems robust, handles have held up well to frequent movement Cons - No significant issues encountered after several months - Included power cords could be a bit longer for more placement flexibility - Fridge does not have good tie-down points, making secure mounting in a vehicle a challenge Description Accuracy The fridge delivers exactly as advertised: true dual zone cooling, with consistent performance on both 12V DC and AC power. OK, so this fridge is truly the best thing I’ve ever purchased. It has come in so handy and is truly amazing to have when traveling, camping, and for day-to-day use. It has been so incredibly indispensable. I love it so much! So, on a side note, I had an NTC failure. It’s to do with the thermostat. I reached out to the customer service team at ICECO, and they were amazing. They sent me videos of possible solutions to the problem and instructions on how to diagnose the problem.(check for loose wires and check for moisture on the thermostat, etc.) Unfortunately, my fridge doesn’t seem repairable by myself, and they are taking care of the problem. I truly appreciate ICECO’s service department. They understand how people are busy living busy lives. They have gone above and beyond in their help and support. It took me some time to diagnose and get back to them with the issues to finally get a resolution. They are so amazing. I highly recommend ICECO fridges for all your adventures. And I believe that they stand behind their products! I highly recommend ICECO I have their solar panel and the small battery pack and the Go20 between the three products they are my go to for camping trips keep food cold or frozen or both without soaking in ice water

The fridge looks really sleek and fits in great in the frunk of my Rivian. So nice and neat for family camping trips and weekend getaways. No ice melting, no need to get refills, super clean. I keep it in the car all the time in case I need to stop somewhere after shopping and keep my items cool. ICECO’s support has been really accommodating as well.

This refrigerator looks like it is made very well. Very nice fit and finish, like I said, it looks like Tesla made it. And it is VERY quiet. I could sleep right next to it and it does not bother me (I normally wake up at the drop of a pin). That said it has some quirks that look like Yugo added to it. The cigarette plug is very difficult to keep plugged-in, it comes out with just the slightest movement thereby shutting the refrigerator off. Even the plug at the actual refrigerator site was hard to keep connected sometimes also. The cooling seems like it was about 10 degrees off, my separate internal thermometer consistently showed a temperature of about 10+ degrees warmer than what the fridge showed. Ice cream was very soft and it was hard to freeze water. The manual was not clear and hard to understand, one example is the instructions to get it into “Advanced Settings” were very unclear. I had to go to YouTube to figure it out. The instructions says it comes in Celsius by default, but mine was in Fahrenheit (did I get a used one?). I also got an error code once and it stopped working, not sure what it was for or what caused it because of the difficult and incomplete manual. Pros: • Appears to be extremely well made • Has nice touches like soft close lid, interior LED light • Extremely quiet • Can be used as a freezer/refrigerator or just a freezer or just a refrigerator Cons: • Cigarette plug comes apart very easily, turning off the fridge • Actual temperature is much higher than what shows • Water is hard to freeze, ice cream is very soft • Unknown error codes • Very difficult instructions • I have absolutely no idea on how to get it into the advertised 27 watt ECO mode • Main plug difficult to secure Thoughts: When I tested this it was a little warm outside. The freezer could never get below about 10 degrees F (so actually 20 degrees?). It ran constantly. I tested several running situations to try to make it run better. The method I liked the best was to take the divider out and just use it just as a refrigerator at a temperature of 42 degrees for the whole unit. It turned on much less with this setup (using less of my RV batteries) and for me will probably be the way I use it in the future. So I gave this a rather low score of only 3 stars, and also a lot of cons, so the question is would I purchase this again and the answer is yes. It seems to be a quality product with some faults that could be corrected easily and cheaply by the manufacturer. And the size fits perfectly in the area I need. They could have written the manual clearer, they could have made a connection that does not separate so easily, they could explain the error codes, and they could make the temperature numbers more accurate, all easy inexpensive fixes in my opinion. Edit 1/21/2021 ICECO has been very proactive on this review, commenting in the comment section (one of the best things with Amazon reviews, but are now recently gone...bad move Amazon) with a phone number for contact, and suggestions on all my questions/problems. I have updated the review to 4 stars and will test out the F1/F2/F3 suggestion to regulate to temperature, and try out the new cigarette adaptor they sent me for the connection problems. I will further update this review in the future with results. Edit 3/26/2021 ICECO is outstanding with their customer service. They fixed the cigarette cord, cooling problem, and ALL PROBLEMS, etc. A future more extensive updated review will come soon.
