Exactly what I was looking!
This CURT 13591 Class 3 Trailer Hitch with 2-Inch Receiver and adapter was exactly what I was looking for and was less than what the local biking and camping stores were going to charge me. I was told the part number and brand that they would sale to me, and their costs ranged from $235 - $330 without installation. I was told that it would be a flat installation fee and would take up to 3 hours? Before seeing the hitch in person I told a mechanic what I wanted to do and he offered to do it for $80. I'm smart and cheap. I watched some Youtube videos for installing the hitch. I found the same hitch here at Amazon for hundreds less than I was being told. I put the hitch on my Equinox LTZ in my driveway for free. I removed the chrome plate from the center of the bumper as directed in the Youtube videos. All of the included bolts fit with no problems. Warning...The hitch is HEAVY and very sturdy! I cleaned all of the factory pre-drilled holes in the frame of the vehicle with spray lubricant and the round wire brush end of a battery terminal cleaner. I slid on my back under the center of the rear of the car and pressed/balanced the center of the hitch with my chest. I slowly threaded the center bolts into the frame then slowly threaded the bolts into the right side and the left side of the frame of the vehicle. Once the hitch was mounted I used some socket extensions and a ratchet and tightened all of the bolts using a breaker bar. This was pretty easy. I even found a much more affordable 2 bike rack at Harbor Freight and used a coupon to purchase it for less than $40. I went with this Class 3 hitch because it is rated to be able to tow a wide variety of trailers for camping, hunting, fishing, motorsports and more. I would definitely recommend this to others and purchase another for my next vehicle!

Great Hitch
Ordered this 2in Curt hitch on June 4th, free shipping, received it June 10th.The only part of the process that took awhile was prep work before installing via cleaning out the bolt holes on my 2006 Chevy Equinox. 5 years of it being driven around, bolt holes being exposed to the elements, lot of grime and a little rust build up. Have WD-40 and a thin wire brush to clean out your bolt holes before trying to install the hitch as you don't want to strip the threads of the bolts trying to force them in. If you have too, work the bolts back and forth in the holes to help loosen the grime and rust, continuing to spray with WD-40 every so often. For me this process took a little over an hour doing all six bolt holes on my vehicle. But afterwords I could turn the bolts all the way in by hand. If the bolts don't screw in with relative ease and takes force, your torque wrench won't torque the bolts properly when installing the hitch as it's requiring more force due to grime and rust still in the bolt holes. So take the time to clean them all out well before installation. My words of advice. As for the hitch itself, I thought the price was good at $126, very well made, fit like a glove with the chasis of my vehicle. Once the bolt holes were clean, actual install of the hitch and torqing the nuts to proper foot pounds, only took around 20 minutes.Check around with your local hardware or auto parts stores to see if you can rent or borrow a torque wrench if you don't have one. The auto parts store down the street from me let me barrow their click torque wrench for a full refundable deposit upon returning the wrench. We just wrote them a check and when we returned the wrench they gave us our check back. Easy, didn't have to buy one.In summary, we bought this hitch to carry a recumbent bike rack. At present we have no need for the electrical wiring kit for trailer lights, maybe some day in the future. For what we got this hitch for, it was priced reasonable, very well made, very easy and quick installation of the hitch itself, looks nice on the vehicle, free shipping only took a week.I would recommend this product.

Factory fit for your vehicle
This thing fit exactly like the factory tow hitch. The instructions are very clear and even mentioned that we might need to run a tap through the side holes that have been getting wet/dirty for the past decade since they are horizontal and parallel to the ground which is true.Depending on the age of your vehicle you will want to make sure you have those holes cleaned up real good with rust penetration oil and a brass brush or run a tap of the correct size and thread pitch through it a few times because you will struggle to get the side bolts on anything that's been out on the road for a few years.I got lucky and had the tapped holes for the vertical bolts on my car and was able to easily get those two in place. Those two don't need to be cleaned since gravity keeps them from staying wet unless you got them muddy a lot.If you don't have those holes the kit does come with the square washers and bolts you'll need as well as the fishing wire you'll need to easily slide the washer into place to secure the hitch.Other than my car being a decade old, this kit was very easy to install. It came with everything you need, the instructions were clear and useful, and the construction of the hitch itself is very good and exactly what you'd get if you bought one from GM/Chevy so no sense in wasting the money to get one that says the manufacturer name on it since they are all made by the same company. It's the exact same one you'd get from U-Haul as well if you'd prefer to go that route, but this is about $120 cheaper since you'll be installing it yourself.I've used it for a basket rack and a bike rack and it's held firm and steady no problem. I even put a ball hitch on it and stood on it myself just to be sure before I added weight to it and it didn't budge at all, not that it should have, but it's good to test things even if my methods of testing aren't the most well advised. If you're in the market and don't mind doing a self install buy this one. So long as you get the one that says it'll fit your vehicle you won't be disappointed.
