Q: What is the full list of ingredients?

Ingredients: Organic cashew butter, grass-fed collagen protein, inulin (chicory), Bulletproof XCT® oil powder (caprylic and capric acid triglycerides from highly refined coconut and/or palm kernel oil, tapioca dextrin), organic unsweetened chocolate, organic cashews, Bulletproof Brain Octane® oil (caprylic acid triglycerides from highly refined coconut oil), organic cacao nibs, organic coconut oil, non-GMO sunflower lecithin, lab-tested vanilla beans, sea salt, organic stevia leaf extract. Contains: Cashews, Coconut.

Q: Why is there a California prop 65 waning on these bars?

While many of Bulletproof’s products do not need any Proposition 65 warning, we do offer some products that contain chemicals above the very low Prop 65 levels, so we provide warnings. We believe these chemicals come from our natural ingredients and cooking processes. For instance, products with plant-based ingredients come from the ground containing trace amounts of heavy metals. Similarly, our collagen comes from cows which consume grass which can have the same trace minerals. A Prop 65 warning does not mean a product violates any product-safety standards or requirements, or that it is not safe to use or consume. The warning is provided to allow consumers to assess their individual risk. The levels of exposure that require a Proposition 65 warning are, by design, far lower than federal exposure standards or standards in other states.

Q: Is it possible to purchase individual bars so I can see if I like them?

I don't much like any protein bars but I don't eat much meat and so they're a protein supplement for me, not a gastronomic pleasure. In the case of these bars, I tried one and liked it okay. One person answered this question saying they didn't like the crumbly texture. It's actually one thing about this bar that I did especially like. I am so sick of the thick, gummy, damp clay consistency of other protein bars. This at least felt vaguely reminiscent of a crumby cookie and that is a welcome change.

Q: Can Bulletproof please publish how much heavy metals, including lead, are contained per bar? I love the product but am very concerned about metals

Truthfully I do not know. Thought they were made to be healthy and didn’t expect heavy metals or lead. Made from grass fed cattle🤔
