If you carry a bunch of electronic equipment, you want this
Here is what I love about this bag.Separate storage for cables: all in one place, won't scratch equipmentPadding everywhere; all the pockets are paddedHeadphone pocket; the headphone pocket will hold a full pair of over the ear headphones without needed to collapseIt's sturdy; it's obviously made for travel abuseTon's of room; you could easily carry a full computer lab with you (I do)Basic look, it has a basic look to it and although its large, I don't feel like a dork wearing itIt's comfortable to wear; straps fit well, there is a supporting front strap that holds it in place if needed and there is mesh, air channels, and padding on the back to keep things cool and provide support for heavy loadsThe bad? This bag is big. If you don't have the need to carry a lot of stuff, this is probably not for you. Here is what I carry in this bag:Beats headphones3 iPads3 iPodsWindows PhoneSamsung Galaxy S3iPad miniWindows 8 Surface RT TabletSamsung Galaxy NoteMacBook Pro 17"Nexus 7 TabletSprint 4G HotspotCables and power supplies for all of the aboveItems are separated in groups in padded pockets and I still have room for more, e.g. I could easily fit three more laptops with the included spacers. (iPad mini and Nexus 7 together; iPads, Windows Surface RT, Samsung note together; iPods, phones together, etc.)The bag would also be good for travelers with electronics. You could guy pack a few days worth of clothes as well.I would buy this again as long as I had the need to carry electronic equipment.

I Love This Bag For My DJ Gear!!!
I DJ three or four times a week and I carry all of my gear in this backpack!!! My TRAKTOR S2 DJ Controller, 15inch MacBook Pro, computer stand, Headphones, cables, external hard drives and any misc. things that i need or want to bring with me to my gigs!!! You could fit so much more if need be. So many compartments to carry whatever I need for the night as well as keeping all of my things safe and well organized. I love it. Since I got this I have used it many, many times. FYI My DJ controller the TRAKTOR S2 is this biggest size controller that will fit in the main compartment so keep that in mind when your looking to see if it is going to fit your controller. It is also very comfortable carrying on my back!!!

Bad stitching
I would give this five stores however the strap stitching came undone after two months of use.

Check the stitching I received a non completed bag!
The media could not be loaded. This would be my 3rd one and they have done me well as Ive only needed to replace about every 4-6 yrs. This is taking in account 3-6 days a week local and traveling gigs. As I am looking through it I see the manufacturer totally forgot to stitch a pocket flap and poor stitching on an Interior pocket which is useful for small items such as batteries, business cards, headphone adapters and ect. I could totally work around it but if this is bad how much confidence do I have that the strap stitching or integrity of this bag is good?As this hold my cpu, hd’s and things of significant importance that is needed as my career as a dj.

Great versatile DJ pack, but could use some improved ergonomics
This pack is has a lot of compartments for a variety of things and a lot of space. You can store vinyl, cables, accessories, headphones, power supplies, microphones, etc. You can even fit me smaller MIDI controllers in it in addition to your laptop. The only issue I have is that the weight distribution doesn't seem well balanced and is not very comfortable if you have a pretty full pack.

A very good backpack for my notebook computer-based studio equipment
So far though, this is the best backpack I've found and at a low price.I've bought and tried several bags for my current notebook computer home studio setup when traveling like a nomad (which I'm not!), but each one is unique.I wanted a bag that is not cumbersome in weight nor to the components that I have.It does have heavy-padded compartments which is a good one (and a downside one). The reason for this is that they help protect some delicate components in which at the same time causing the backpack to bulge when putting so many of the components in it.It is very rugged and heavy-duty in which it can last long.I wouldn't consider buying this bag for anything else other than DJ/notebook computer studio equipment, period. This is THE bag for a traveling DJ/studio musician in mind!I will recommend this to anyone who wants to use it for a specific purpose: DJ-ing or portable studio recording.Take care everybody! ;)

The Best DJ Bag I Have Ever Had...
The Best DJ Bag I Have Ever Had...Extremely well thought out...there's a spot for everything, and everything's protected...I actually just did a mobile gig, with this in bag which had in it;Mic's / long cables, 2 extension cords, Long 25 ft RCA cables, XLR Cables, Power Supplies, Headphones, Controller, Laptop, iPad, apple cables, adapters, usb keys, and even some snacks and grooming supplies in the side pockets.... btw there was still plenty of room.... and the design makes it so easy to open and get to all your cables for install) it opens flat. When leaving the gig, the owner couldn't believe i did all that with just a medium sized set of JBL self powered speakers and what ever fit in this bag...Excellent

Just what I was looking for...
I have been looking for a backpack that ACTUALLY holds a VCI-380, instead of just claiming to hold one. I have owned three different bags from their Redline series and this one is built just as well as the others. It's durable where it needs to be and still maintains a decent weight without killing your back. I'm able to comfortably fit my VCI-380 with a Decksaver cover on, a 15" MacBook Pro, a Crane stand, all cables and cords as well as my portable hard drive and 2 pair of headphones (will hold ANY size). There is still room to safely add another laptop if desired. Another thing I like about it is that if I sit it on the floor, it holds itself up without falling over or slumping.

If you're a DJ, this bag is a MUST!
Built so well and with so much space for everything you can think of. Keep an eye on AMAZON, often times this bag sells for cheaper than retail. I saved almost $40.

This bag is a Tardis
While this bag is pitched as a "DJ" bag, I use mine for various audio and video productions. Firstly, I don't know of another backpack that could carry five laptops in separate compartments. I typically use mine for audio recording setups and can easily pack in a laptop, mixer, production headphones, mics, cables, power supplies etc. It doesn't look great to wear, it sticks out a mile, so you look like a ten year old going to school, BUT it fits everything and is appropriately padded for comfort.. not that you'd want to have it on too long if you've absolutely stuffed it. It's really well thought out, padded interior, has a ton of little hidden pockets, even a bottle holder and all the zips are big heavy duty ones. It also has a robust, padded carrying handle to easily move it about or lift up. It is very easy to recommend this bag.

BEST DJ BAG EVER. Happy with product,
wOw! Very impressed with quality of bag and ease of loading gear in it. Only downfall is lack of small compartments for little stolid but otherwise tons of space. Tried 3 other bag, mono fly by, bubm ddjsb bag, fusion sa02 djmix bag, and this is clearly the winner of all 4. Doesn't have the single over the should strap, bot everything about the bag is great. Got all my gear in and space left, and the bag isn't too big. LOVE it. Hopefully the next version will fix my two peeves about it. I've got cables, headphones, power cables, a DJ controller WEGO3, with a top lid, iPad, laptop and two metal DJ stands plus cell accessories.
