I have been searching for a standard baseball cap that fits my larger head FOREVER. This is the first and only product of this type that I have found that does just that. When it comes to snapbacks and fitted hats, I'm usually on the last button or forced to buy somewhere between and 7 5/8 and 7 7/8 depending on how short my hair is. This is great for low-cut flat-bill hats, because they accommodate a larger crown. But basic baseball caps are cut so high that they just dont fit on my head the right way. This cap is cut more like a flat-bill on the sides, but with the classic curved duck bill. The bill is sized proportionally, which means it's bigger, longer, and provides even more sun protection. This is one of few hats I can wear without absolutely needing sunglasses!Overall, amazing hat. Great quality, great sizing, and something I have been looking for, for quite some time!

People with big heads will understand the trouble to find something that fits at all. The typical size on the market is just universally too small for me, and I could only fit into hats made from stretchable or elastic materials. Baseball hats had been almost impossible, as most of them were too small.It's only once in a blue moon that I can even find anything that even fits, and even rarer will it look any good. They were like flukes in the production, and they invariably had to be adjusted to the max and stretched, often looking a bit awkward and still small.I've tried to look for oversized baseball caps online. And just like the description for this cap suggests, that some of these caps have larger circumference only, but everything else being equal. The result is a very strange flat looking cap that is also very shallow and "floats" on top of my head. It's a complete disappointment and a waste.So I got this cap because it was aware of this issue with supersized baseball caps. They did not only enlarge the circumference but also deepened the cap. They also enlarged the visor as well. It sounds like they know of the problem and have addressed it sensibly.While still skeptical that it'll look strange, as they often screw up proportions making oversized caps, I placed the order. Here are my observations:Likes:-- Truly quite a bit larger in every dimension, and in a proportional way. I actually have to tighten it a bit, which had pretty much never happened. It is not just larger circumference, but like the same proportions of a standard baseball cap but larger in every way. In that sense it won't look weird or out of proportion, as many of these super-sized caps often do.-- The material feels like cotton blend with synthetic fiber. It is fairly structured without being too thick. The interior of the brim lining were also well made, not with cheap nonwoven fibers that is often the case these days with lesser caps. The construction is actually fairly good, which is a pleasant surprise.-- with the good proportions and not being soft or droopy, yet also not overly stiff, it actually looked good when worn, without giving off too much hint that it's oversized or specially made in some way. From my experience, this is truly rare, and I've bought more than half a dozen of these oversized caps with plenty of failures.Caveats:-- The cap came naked without any plastic wrapping in a paper box. It got scuffed against the box a little leaving some marks. I am not sure if it came without plastic wraps or it was lost during the packaging process, but it seems to be a good idea to have basic packaging for shipping protection.-- I'm not a fan of the embroidered "X ace" on the side of the cap. I'm just not a fan of brand logos in general, and would much prefer it if they had made one without it, or at least something that is a lot more subtle.-- No product information and material tag anywhere. It would have been nice if it's just a sticker on a plastic wrapper, or maybe a removable tag. Not having product labels probably violates regulations and laws too, though I'd just be interested in the material composition.It's an oversized cap that is not only quite large, but also proportionally correct. It is well constructed, has good stiff structure, and looks pretty good without giving off signs that it's something unusual. I just wish the embroidered logo was more subtle, had rudimentary packaging, and that its materials were labeled.

I always thought I had a big head - until I got this hat. I wear a size 7- 5/8 to 7-3/4 and most hats are tight or too small for me. And then I got this hat. Now I feel like I have the tiniest head in the world. I had to tighten the adjusting strap to the smallest possible position and then I still had the hat flopping down over my ears and making me look like a toddler wearing Dad’s hat. I ran it through the washer and dryer on the hottest setting and I managed to get it to shrink just a little, but it’s still really really big. The brim is even much bigger than all my other ball caps about a half an inch wider and longer than my largest “regular” cap. Probably a good fit if you have a head like Bruce Bochy.

This is a very nice, really big hat! I always have trouble finding hats for my size 7-7/8 to size 8 head, and when the adjustable ones do fit, they are at their extreme largest size, the limit of the strap, which distorts their shape when worn. Not so with this hat! When it arrived and I tried it, I had room to spare and more strap was available. I had to downsize it slightly to get a proper fit. That's especially nice because it allows the hat to fit my head properly and not be pulled out of shape by adding size only at the rear, like normal human-sized hats.The quality is just fine, the visor is more than adequate, so if you have a big pumpkin head (and I'm talking about the kind that win awards at pumpkin growing contests) then you will be happy to have found these hats.

If you are looking at this you, or someone you know, probably struggles with "one size fits all" hats not fitting. I can tell you I have never worn hats because it is nearly impossible for me to find a hat that fits well. Let me tell you this things will fit even very large heads. I measure in at just over 24" circumference so I actually adjusted the hat in from how it shipped. I have NEVER adjusted a hat smaller before, and it was a great feeling! The hat definitely accommodates the larger circumference by being taller and wider, so no worries about a flat top due to how much you had to stretch the hat or ridges in your forward from the elastic being too tight on the XL stretch hat. I like that the hat is so neutral overall as it allows it to be worn in many situations, for someone who has trouble finding hats that fit you want it to serve multiple uses. If you or someone you know struggles to find hats that are large enough give this a try, it will definitely fit larger heads in comfort.
