I am giving this 5 stars for two reasons: (1). Excellent customer service (2). The product itself. The first shredder malfunctioned, the buttons would get stuck and it would not feed the paper all the way through because of the controls. I contacted Bonsen, they had me send serial number, proof of purchase from Amazon and video of malfunction, which I did. Didn't hear anything back after sending info and you know why?? Because two days after sending the info a brand new machine arrived. I contacted Bronson to see if they wanted me to send the broken one back, they said no. Now that is customer service. More companies should be like this. Their quick customer focused service got them a lifelong fan. Now to the replacement, works as intended, shreds paper up to 12 sheets at a time, effortlessly. It is reasonably quiet, no shredder is super quiet, in my opinion. Sturdy, right size for my needs, has high capacity storage for shredded paper. Run time of 20 minutes straight is okay, wish it was longer, but I rarely shred that much paper for that long. Overall, would definitely buy this product again.

Great product; doesn’t overheat and shreds, paper and credit cards without issue. It’s only jammed once and that was an operator error not a product there I had not paid attention to the amount of paper being shredded, which caused a jam. The jam was easy to fix using the reverse function and the paper shredder shut off before overheating.

It Works. Shreds 5 pages all at once. Too much it Jams. Also paper bits get behind the bin inside cause a little clean up.

This little shredder is great! I got it as a gift for my mom because she is all about the paper trail for "security" reasons. I mean she has her very first paper paycheck stub from 60 years ago so you know what I'm saying! LOL! Finally, she feels safe doing it in the privacy of her own home. Great price point and easy to use.

Nice size, easy to dump waste and really shreds the papers and plastic cards. This unit is lighter than my old shredder comparing size, capability and run time. I am very pleased.

This is only the second shredder that we have owned. The first unit would only handle about 4 sheets and a time and it had a real hard time with that many sheets. Enter the new unit, what a brute! It runs circles around our old unit for capacity and speed. So far, I have shredded about 7 sheets at once and the unit didn't even slow up at all. It also shreds the pages into much smaller pieces than our old shredder. Although it costs quite a bit more than our old unit, what today doesn't!!!!

Excellent Shredder ! Does everything described and more! Would definitely recommend it!!!!

Works great! Cleaned up a pile of documents and bills that had been lying around for a while. A large kitchen trash bag will fit in the hopper and make it easier to get rid of the shredded paper. Will crosscut paper documents to make them secure for the trash, and will also eat credit cards with no problem.
