The media could not be loaded. I purchased two of these fake security cameras for a property I’m currently renovating that doesn’t have electricity. The place had been broken into before by a squatter, so I wanted something visible that would help deter any future unwanted visitors while I work on getting the place fixed up. These definitely do the trick.The red blinking light is surprisingly convincing, especially at night. Even without power to the house, the battery-powered light gives the illusion that the cameras are real and active. I installed one at the front of the property and one at the back to cover both main points of entry. For added realism, I even attached a small piece of wire to each unit to make it look like it’s wired into the house—just a small detail, but it really sells the effect.Installation was a breeze. They’re lightweight and come with the hardware needed to mount them quickly. They also have a nice, sturdy look from a distance and blend in well with the exterior. From the street or driveway, you’d never guess they aren’t functional.So far, so good—no break-ins or suspicious activity since putting them up. Of course, I know they aren’t actually recording anything, but the visual presence alone seems to be enough to make people think twice. For the price, you really can’t go wrong if you’re looking for a temporary or low-cost deterrent.If you’re dealing with a vacant property or any space without electricity, I definitely recommend these as an added layer of security. They’ve given me a little extra peace of mind while I focus on the renovations.

Quality. Sterdily built. They look real. Battery life is decent. Honestly though, the blinking light gives it away as a fake. Maybe don't put batteries in it. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It's a good security measure. Recommend having a few real ones sprinkled in.

Thin plastic but look realistic. Should outlast the weather for a few years especially if mounted under an eve out of direct sun & rain.For the price, not bad at all. I’ll not use batteries; red light would be very noticeable at night but I’m not concerned about the red light working.Only problem I have is that I ordered box of 4 cameras but they only put enough screws in for two cameras. But I’ll use exterior wood screws instead their interior screws which look like they’d rust.Also, to open the battery section, unscrew the front section, then tap gently to pop out the clear plastic part with the fake led lights. That’s the only part to take off. Don't pry out the threaded section. That clear part is in place with a plastic gasket so it sticks a little bit - to keep water out.

Easy to assemble and install. They look like the real deal. A great deterrent for the price.

Realistic looking "camera" & the batteries last 4-6 months depending on time of year.

Arrived quickly, and they work OK. For my taste the red blinking light blinks a little too quickly. Should be more like a three second delay between blinks. Just feels it would be a little more authentic that way.

When you look closely at it, it's flimsy and fake. However, when we added it to our house in a 'tough' neighborhood, it worked.
