I was really excited to get this as it was recommended by my trainer. It has funny smell to it. I made my first cup in a Vitamix...it almost had a weird burnt smell to it and I could only drink half the glass. I let my wife smell it and she gave me a "that's gross" look after smelling it. I made a second glass with a shaker bottle, thinking maybe the Vitamix over-did it. It was equally gross. Not gross in a "I don't like how it tastes" kind-of way. But gross in a "something is wrong with this" kind-of way. Like, "did I get a bad batch" or something, like expired or contaminated or something. I tried to return it (I just got it yesterday) but Amazon doesn't allow returns on food products. So I'm stuck with $90 container of shake that I can't drink. I also can't find a way to contact the seller except to give feedback on the seller. I don't have any complaints on the seller, but unfortunately I feel jipped on a gross product.

I am not a big fan of the vanilla flavour, will be going back to strawberry or chocolate after this tub is empty. It is one of the absolute best protein powders out there, was recommended to me by a nutritionist and a couple 'gym bro's. I use it as a breakfast before my walks or hikes with the dog, and my husband use it as a post workout to help build muscle. We have had several tubs already and never had any quality issues.
