My husband wanted to purchase this base because our neighbor had one and he liked the design of it, so we bought one, we are very happy with the results of the design and quality of the one we received. It fit on the flag pole perfectly and it looks great sitting outside our door.We recommend this product, you won’t be disappointed.

The slightest wind will blow it over. It needs to have a sandbag, or something put on it, to give it enough weight to keep it from tipping.

I recently moved from a large house with a big yard to a very small apartment with a tiny balcony. I miss having my patio flags you know the ones with the 2 things you poke in the ground and you can hang a little flag on. I can now use the stand and fly my little patio flag on my little balcony. I'm very pleased with it. Hope this helps.

This adjustable base has two pipes that have to be screwed into the bottom platform which makes it “adjustable” to fit any size flag pole. It is not as steady as the other stand I own that is not “adjustable.” I was looking for a base where the pipes were permanently affixed but I could not find one.I was thinking of returning the product, and then decided to keep it because it will be okay to use when I go traveling in my rv. On a positive note, it will be easy to store while traveling since it breaks down into three pieces. I would not recommend using this base on a permanent basis in the garden. I could not get the screws to stay fastened down tightly, and it did show signs of rust when I used it on the patio for a week. Guess I will have to put some WD40 on it. My older permanent base has never rusted, and I have owed it for over 5 years.I am still hunting for another permanent base.

First one came missing the pole holder, second one came as expected. Now the 3rd one seems lost and no place to cancel. I'm using the stand in a small pond to hold up a ceramic fish mounted on a pole that has a sharp end, that cannot be pushed into the pond liner. (For obvious reasons.) Works great. Now waiting on a second stand.

I live in a condo and I always wanted to have a shepards hook to hang lights and plants on. I saw this stand and bought it. I have used it in the summer and winter and it works so well.

Received only the base. The piece to hold the pole was missing. Other reviews stated same issue, but I ordered it anyway. I should have listened!
