I bought the size 8/9 for my son and he is 8 years old and will turn 9 in December, the size fits him perfectly. The material quality is good, it's not thick, but not too thin, just right. The head cover, the hand gloves and the red head tie are all separate pieces. The head cover can cover their mouth or can just be set below the chin if preferred. I would recommend this costume!! My son loves this ninja costume! It's very comfortable even over normal clothes for easy wearing and warmth. It looks great and has held up to washing so far. Great dress-up or Halloween costume.

The ninja costume is pretty good quality overall, though I wouldn’t call it “luxury” as the title suggests. It works well for Halloween and comes with a face mask, gloves, straps, and a belt. It seemed to run a little long, but that’s OK. I do wish the straps were attached since you have to wrap and tie them on your own, and they might not stay in place very well. Overall, my child is happy with it, and it looks great for the price.

Pros: - The costume comes with all items to make it as close as possible to a ninja outfit. - It fits a little loose on the legs which I particularly like for my kid as it makes it for a more comfortable fit, and makes it easier to run around and play while wearing it. - The material seems to be of good quality. It feels soft and it stretches well. The color is a solid black. - I really like that the back is a zipper. Cons: - The straps to tie on the arms and legs could have been sewn on. This would make it easier to not loose them and to put the costume on. Overall, I think this item provides good value for money as you get a full outfit and it certainly could last more than one season.

Size was more like for a 7 year old than 4T

Solid multi-piece ninja costume. The material is soft and stretchy and seems quite comfortable. The back closes with a zipper which is much nicer than velcro on other options. The wrist and ankle wraps are individual strips of fabric that you tie on. The belt is velcro with the throwing stars being foam that is preattached to the belt and not removable. The mask and globes are also separate which can be nice for children that are more sensitive to things on their hands or face and want to pick what parts of the costume they wear. Size is on the larger side but not to big for my six year old who is a little under average sized for his age. Bunches at the ankles but not excessive. Will fit most kids. More important than anything else, he loves it so it gets that stamp of approval.

The material is soft and comfortable and is higher quality than most costume material. It even has a zipper in the back, instead of the Velcro closure used on most costumes. It is a little big on my son, but he is small for his age. The good news is that he will be able to wear it longer since it’s a little big. Each part is separate, the main costume, the hood, the belt, gloves, red ties for legs and arms. That is helpful for kids who may not want to wear the hood or gloves, etc. The details are nice. The ninja stars on the front are foam, so they won’t be uncomfortable. My son is very excited to wear this for Halloween.

Overall, this is a decent costume. The material is very thin, but it's slightly oversized, so you have room to layer your kiddo up if it's chilly on Halloween. My daughter is 4, and this fits her pretty well. I did need to significantly hem the pant legs, but that wasn't a huge deal. It comes a few accessories to complete the look. We did buy the sword separately for the costume.
