Overall, we've been really happy with this purchase. It makes removing and keeping used kitty litter much easier and definitely reduces the awful smell, as it smartly locks the used litter inside. The bag dispenser is a super smart idea, too. My only complaint is that it probably isn't big enough! Also, the entrance at the 'neck' of the container is a little narrow for the provided scoop, which means you need a good aim and a steady hand! But overall, a really worthwhile purchase for anyone with indoor cats.

When it first arrived I wondered about the size of it - it is much bigger than I’d expected, but I should have known as it says it holds two weeks worth of litter. But I do wonder, why does anyone want to hold two weeks worth of litter in a bag in their house? Our waste pickup is weekly (our litter is compostable so it goes in the green bin). That point aside, this thing is amazing. The design is fantastic, the lever doesn’t touch the waste and blocks off the smells 100%! I have a VERY sensitive sense of smell and the litter genie is in the bedroom because our senior cat can’t go up and down the stairs on his own so we now have a litter box on two levels. I smell nothing! (The litter box is inside a litter enclosure by Pawhut, which we love) My second minor complaint, but not enough to dock a star for, is the colour. Nothing in my room is white so this huge hunk of plastic stands out like a sore thumb. I would much prefer it in dark grey or even black. But again, that’s just aesthetics. I give it 5 stars for design - for locking smells inside the bin, for the pretty easy bag system (tie a knot, pull it down to the bottom… when full or you want to empty it, pull the plastic over to the built in bag slicer, and tie a knot in both the one you’re removing as well as the new bag, pull it to the bottom and you’re good to go.) Couldn’t be easier. The scoop that comes with it is better than I’d expected, very sturdy for its small size (smaller than my metal scoop that I love). If the handle was completely rounded I would have for preferred that - it is hollow on the back side and sometimes rubs my hand uncomfortably. But it fits in the opening of the genie better than my large scoop does, and I love the little holder on the side that keeps it handy for use. Wish the holder didn’t have holes in the bottom, as there is always litter in there and I’m sure little pieces fall out. But not a big deal. All in all I’m very impressed with this item and would highly recommend it. I only wish I had bought one sooner!

Es un producto que cumple con lo que promete, yo lo estoy amando porque ya no tengo que el tema al abrir el bote y percibir los olores. No es un contenedor grande, pero sin problema alberga los desechos de una semana, considerando que yo tengo dos gatos.
