I am hesitant to write a review because I bought a grill scrubber from a local store and I am now looking for replacement. In any case, I believe this is relevant. The scrubber was brand new and melted instantly the first time he used it. To be fair, he used it when the grill was hot with the hottest coals. On this ad, they say heat resistant, not to use on a hot grill, and wait till the coals are cold. However, what is the point then??? That is how a grill scrubber is intended to be used. Getting the grill hot will heat up any oil and grease on the grates and make them easier to clean. Also, while cooking, it is sometimes necessary to scrub off food that is stuck to the grates. Being able to withstand the high temperatures is absolutely a requirement for a grill scrubber. I clearly didn't read into it when I bought our scrubber. As this brush head is made of the same material, and also says to avoid the heat of the grill, I expect it to behave the same. I would never buy another grill scrubber even remotely like this again. Hopefully, I can find a replacement head with actual metal.

I have ordered these in the past and they were stainless steel replacement heads, this one DOES NOT DO THE JOB! Why would you sell a replacement grill brush that will melt when used on the grill???

This nylon bristle brush is not suitable for cleaning a hot grill. Nylon is about the poorest material for this application that one could use.
