Odd as it sounds, you don't want tweezers to be too sharp, otherwise you'll start cutting hairs instead of tweezing them. Other tweezers I've tried have come across two issues; (1) being too flimsy (affecting ability to grasp hairs) or (2) being too sharp. These have a nice non-flimsy metal, and are not too sharp, allowing you to grab hairs easily. The added gripping material is a bonus, it feels nice. Good tweezers.

I’m a tweezer fanatic. I have owned every major brand and I’m super picky. One of my oldest pairs is 15 years old. A brand that is no longer made, but made of a high quality stainless. These tweezers work just as well. I am in shock. I’ve paid $50 for tweezers and haven’t had them work as well as these. Sadly, I’m a hairy girl and use tweezers daily with a magnifying mirror to pull hairs off my face. These tweezers grab all the hairs, even the black course ones with no problem. Be careful ladies as they are super sharp. I’m back to buy two more pair (one for my car, and one for my handbag). These are simply AMAZING! Update: I placed an order for two more pairs of these and sadly, the two newest pairs were inferior. I’m not sure what happened but the new pairs barely have any spring to them making them not work as well as the first pair. I kept them because they were inexpensive and sending them back would’ve been a hassle but I’m super sad. My advice to the company: Please have better systems in place to make sure all of your products are of the same standards and quality or you’ll lose business.

I can't say enough about these tweezers. I've been using them for years, and I've found nothing else that comes close. I must have had half a dozen other types of tweezers laying around the house--each one was frustrating to use, and none of them did a good job. Then I found these. The ends fit into a rubber cap, which keeps them clean and protects them. The ends are wide but tapered to a nice clean edge that makes it easy to grab an unwanted hair. The mint green oval you see is featured on each side, making it easy and comfortable to grip the tweezers. I have several of them now--one for the bathroom, one for my desk at work, and one for my suitcase.

We use these tweezers to remove ticks. Overall being they are larger tweezers so they work very well for this purpose. I am sure they would be good to use for eyebrows etc. but we have found they do work great for removing ticks.
