Works well as a child’s wristwatch-phone with a few accessories, but NO compatibility with any Apps.
First of all, I didn’t buy this item, but my daughter did and she asked me to set it up for my grandchild, a ten year old boy. So, although not the buyer, my review is quite valid as I have been working with the device and communicating with the manufacturers using Amazon Answers. There is no doubt this a very clever little device and my grandson is going to love it to bits. He will be able to use the “Mum” and “Dad” double-click icons to ring Mum or Dad. I have not yet found out how to enter any other contacts although the description and the manufacturer say that it can be done. It’s too late to tinker with it any more because it’s now wrapped up.I put a standard PAYG SIM micro sim card in the watch, which is £10 per month and it had to have data included in the plan.It makes and receives calls and text messages successfully, and has some cute little games, plus a calculator, calendar, sound recorder and others. It also has a dialler, so even though I couldn’t find out how to add contacts, my grandson will be able to dial any numbers he wants. It has a camera, alarm, SOS button and a music player as well, but the attraction for my daughter was that she expected to be able to use an app on her iPhone to monitor the watch remotely. This isn’t possible, at least in the UK. Although the instructions do tell you how to download the app (which I did) and enter the IME number. When the message comes in to the watch with the verification code, it never works - either by using the QR code or by typing in the number. The manufacturer has confirmed that the app won’t work (see questions and answers?) I think the part of the description that convinced my daughter about the remote tracking were the words “The child phone watch that you can find wherever you are” which are misleading. The big let down is the usual one about the instruction leaflet which is nothing short of appalling. The English is about the worst I have ever seen and so many details are missed. For example, how to add contacts! Even the replies to my questions were almost illegible. I have no idea why manufacturers from foreign countries cannot employ the services of English-speaking people to write their instruction books when they are selling in this country, and therefore make the purchase so much more enjoyable instead of a stressful exercise.Nothing works until an activated SIM card with data plan is inserted. Then it works.Putting the SIM card and memory card in the device require the removal of the back plate and the battery. Easy enough, but be very careful because the insides are delicate and a bit flimsy. Be especially careful that the thin black masking material that surrounds the motherboard doesn’t cover the power terminals when replacing the battery. I see a review that says the battery was duff for their watch and I bet this was the problem.Charging is easy, using the very short charging cable and your smart phone charger. All in all then, for about £30, I think it’s probably worth buying, as long as you understand the limitations. You will need to have some sort of mobile phone plan or contract as it apparently has to include data, although I’m not sure why, because it doesn’t have email or internet. I should think it will be used for a few weeks before moving onto a proper phone. Nice present for a kid though.

SECOND TIME I HAVE PURCHASED AND ONCE AGAIN WATCH DOES NOT WORK
I purchased this for my grandson as a replacement for the returned watch, which did not work. I do not see him on a very regular basis and when I presented this watch to him it will not even turn on. My son-in-law who is very good with such things is unable to get it to work. Sadly it seems I have missed the return window - so I am now left with thirty pounds worth of rubbish.

Cannot make calls
The watch is good but doesn’t make any calls. I have just activated a SIM card, credited with £10. However, the watch doesn’t seem to recognise the sim and does not connect to any network as a result.
