National Geographic Kids World Atlas, 5th Edition Paperback – July 10, 2018

I bought this for my 6th grader to not only open her mind to the world and geography, but because she hates reading chapter books. I thought this would get her to read and be interesting. She loves it. And so do I! We can sit down for an hour and go through pages and pages of information that she finds interesting and also create conversations about cultures and geography. Definitely recommend!

We home school our 9 year old grand daughter. Questions often come up in social studies, science and literature that require finding a location on the map and learning more about it. This atlas has wonderful maps and a wealth of information to support learning about our world.

My son absolutely LOVES this book! Great pictures & information is perfect for an 8 yr old.

My daughter loves this atlas! She was reading it all weekend. Not only does it have maps from all over the world , it has fun activities for kids and interesting facts about a variety of topics. It was very reasonably priced. I'm very happy with my purchase!

I am pleased with the book so far. The layout is good and it is fairly consistent with standard atlases as far as content only it is presented with a younger audience in mind. It will be a good book for my children. The only complaint I have is that it came obviously damaged. I assumed at first something happened during shipping but the package it came in was not damaged. Basically there are about 5 deep gashes in the front cover going about 45 pages deep. The package was not affected meaning it happened before it was shipped. This is really annoying. The book gets 5 stars and the poor quality control gets 2 😕

My 10 year old son loves this book. There are so many interesting facts about geography. The pictures are so colorful. I would highly recommend this book for any child that enjoys geography.

My husband thought it was cool and very informational. My son is going through a "map" phase and love paging through it. Lots of great information packed into it.

I was looking for something my four year old could use with help as he navigated learning more about our world. This was just as I expected. The pictures are great and offer great facts about each continent. I wish there was more information about Antarctica but we can go to the Internet for that. Overall my expectations were met as we use this daily he always asks to read through it with us.
