Top-of-the-line guitar cables at a fraction of retail
Amazon actually has the best price I've been able to find on genuine Mogami cabling, it arrived fast and was exactly the advertised length. I was able to create five top quality cables literally for the price of one single Mogami cable at any music store locally or online. The connectors are expensive (separate purchase of course) but that's just part of making your own cables. I love how the ground/ring strands are not braided – it makes it so much easier to prepare and solder. Absolutely zero interference or hum/buzz with this cabling, I absolutely recommend it over any other.

VERY high quality cable. With high quality mono plugs, this is perfect to make custom cables. Keeps my amps guitars and pedal board neat and tidy.

I screwed up an order, and they were so very nice about it.
Mogami 2524 cable is the industry standard. Accept no substitutions. Great product, fair price. I will definitely buy more cable from them in the future, but 100 yards should last me for awhile. Sooo much cheaper to make your own Mogami cables.
I couldn't believe the price they want for ready made cables (even with a lifetime warranty) so I made my own Mogami cables using Neutrik connectors.Before cutting it up to desired lengths, I wanted to experiment a bit. Supposedly, capacitance in long cables will diminish your highs before your signal reaches the amp. And supposedly, Jimmy Hendricks used extra long cables to purposely cut the highs to give him a more low-end sound, and the reverse when he wanted more highs by using shorter cables in the studio.So anyway, before cutting it up, I put a connector on each end of the 50' length and have been playing through it for a time, and I can't hear any difference between it and some 10' cable I bought from Amazon. I admit it doesn't really prove anything because Mogami cables have extra low capacitance built in. There's a black layer covering the inner conductor's clear insulation, that bleeds off capacitance according to Mogami. In fact, you have to make sure this black layer doesn't touch the inner conductor when installing plugs, as I saw in their troubleshooting guide. It messes up the signal with static sounds. The material is slightly conductive, about 800k Ω from side to side, so it's not an insulator. So I guess this is what you are paying for.I'm going to keep it at 50' for awhile since I don't need any shorter cables at the moment. I can crank up the amp and go sit in the backyard pickin' and grinnin.'
