I like them
I read up on Tanzanite and I saw that the stone can be anywhere from pale lavender to deep blue. I also read the reviews so when I received my pair, I was happy. They are indeed a blue/purple color but since I was aware of this possibility, I am very happy with my purchase. They are beautiful earrings and they are true to size. Nothing against the reviewers that were upset about the color but please keep in mind that these stones are going to vary in color since the stone itself varies.

WOW they are beautiful
My grand daughter was standing next to me as I opened my Tanzanite Studs. I don't know who wispered WOW first. They were breathtakingly beautiful. So beautiful I presented them to my spell bound 16 year old grand daughter. She put them on immediately and began to show them to friends, neighbors even people in the grocery store. I will have to admit they look very pretty in her ears. The only thing left for me to do is to order a pair for my self and await patiently for them to come because I know how beautiful Tanzanite is.

Beautiful cut, color and clarity, but much smaller than I expected. Included a familiar item like a coin in the photo would be helpful for giving a more accurate sense of the size.

Buy costume jewelry, it will last longer.
I was terribly disappointed in these. The color was really pretty, more a light lavender than what is pictured but still pretty. Unfortunately, I only got to wear these studs one time. After having them in for less than half an hour, I leaned over my kitchen table and heard something ping. The stone fell right out of the setting of one of them! If these truly are solid 14 k. white gold, then they are the cheapest white gold I've ever seen! I have stronger costume jewelry. Will not purchase from this seller again.
