Beautiful and sturdy!
Bought this style to replace the one that was on my son's door(old house) he was missing his door knob. Very well built, looks stunning! It was a little smaller in size from original so we had to bore the holes out closer together(not an easy task in an old door) have a few adjustments to make but works great! If putting in new make sure there's plenty of room for key!

Looks Authentic
My home is a 1926 Farmhouse. I just received a new door for the bathroom, stained/varnished it and soon will be installing the rim lock set plus half-mortise hinges. So far looks outstanding. Hope to do more like this if I can strip the old doors, the new one is $400 so stripping is attractive alternative.

Lock fits with the vintage of my old house
Lock is classic looking and functional keys are nice golden color.

The plunger mechanism does not work properly.
Plunger would stay retracted and not return.
