Q: I'm just trying to justify 50 bucks. What are the pieces made of?

The pieces are cheap plastic with stickers on them. Not nice acrylic tiles like one might expect from a $50 item. Do NOT pay $50 for this - it is not worth it. Fun game, but very cheaply made materials and packaging. I don't think this should retail for more than $15.
