Hydro Flask Food Jar - Insulated Stainless Steel Container with Lid

I bought the hydro flask after being disappointed with a thermos I had purchased and I am so happy I did. Unlike previous products I had purchased, the hydro flask food jar is fantastic. It does not leak, keeps food warm and my kindergartener is able to open it and enjoy a nice warm lunch. It’s the perfect size too and so easy to clean. Great product, wish I had bought it first.

Cant keep warm longer than 2 hours

I purchased the 12oz size for greek yogurt and fruit for breakfast and the 20oz for soup. I've used this for both soup and greek yogurt with fruit. I heat up water in the microwave and place it in the container while I heat the soup up then dump the water and add the soup. The soup is still hot 3 hours later. For the yogurt I assemble everything in the hydro flask before bed and place it in the fridge overnight to pack in the morning. Still cold a hour plus when I get to work. Love the bright color and it's well made. No issues to report after several weeks of use. I handwash, very easy to do.

I bought the 12 oz food jar to carry a hot lunch portion while at work, as the nature of my job does not include a break room with a fridge & microwave. The jar holds a perfect amount of stew, casserole, etc, and when put in the pre-heated jar piping hot, wrapped in a towel, and tucked into my pre-warmed small Rtic day cooler, and carried in a warm car & then warm truck, maintained a pleasant- but not hot-hot- eating temperature from 0445-1245. I like the low, wide shape of the 12 oz jar, very easy to eat using a regular spoon. On the whole, I'm satisfied with the product.

Too wide for kid to open.Otherwise, as usual, great product.
