Quality
This feels like a great quality pedal. I was worried the concave shape would be more than I wanted but it is perfect. I looked at the oneup, and the raceface chesters but after reading websites I am glad I chose these. I think these were ten bucks more than the sale price on the chesters right now but from what I read these will last longer and the chesters have to little concave so you feel the bump in the middle. These HT Components PA03A feel great. If I was forced to think of something bad to say I would say work on the name lol. Seriously though, great pedal, buy it. Edit: went on a few rides now and still love this pedal. Look carefully at reviews for other pedals that make noises or break after some use, none of the reviews of this pedal say that. Go with the quality, this is a great pedal.

Nothing Fancy, just nice and solid
I tried out quite a few pedals and these were my favorite. I didn’t want to like them because they looked a little boring but they felt the best by a lot. It is a very simple design but it allows me to move my foot to the right place when I want to and then grips like glue when pedaling or bouncing the bike around. They seem to be really solidly made as well even though they were the lightest ones in the bunch. It requires an Allen wrench (8mm) as there is no allowance for a pedal wrench.

Check the pins
Great pedals, but many of the pins were loose straight from the manufacturer. I lost nine of them over the course of six mountain bike rides. Not impressive quality control.

Great Quality and awesome grip
Great for big feet! Plenty of platform and pin height for an awesome grip.

They're pedals that work
A family member just got a bike that needs new pedals, and I realized I've had these for a few years and they're pretty good. It took a little while to get used to how they grip my shoes after using whatever came standard on my Giant brand bike for several years, but I have no complaints after using them for casual riding after a few years.I don't get too excited about bike pedals. My feet don't slip off easily, I've learned to appreciate the grip, they haven't broken yet, and I just don't have to think about them while I ride. It isn't like they're cooking me bacon for breakfast. They're fine, good enough that I'd recommend them to family.

Product defective. Poor Quality.
I bought the pedals for my mountain bike last winter. They looked good, felt good, and were easy to install. Because of our long winter, I really wasn't able to use them until May. However, after just a few uses, my left pedal lost all of the bolts on the front and back that are used to grip your shoe. I attempted to contact the seller wanting a set of replacement bolts, but there isn't any way to contact this seller. I contacted Amazon Customer Service, but they provided me with a link to the seller that links you back to Amazon Customer Service. Amazon and the seller have left me with useless pedals and no remedy. There are many different pedal options on Amazon at this same price and lower. I recommend you choose another seller.

Excellent flat pedals
These work well. My feet feel quite secure because they grip so well. Not quite like clipless, but close.

Had to Replace Loose Screws
The pedals are very large and grippy out of the box. Great flat option for those on a budget. As others have mentioned in the reviews, after just 5 rides the “pins” (3mm socket cap screws and hex nuts) fell out of the left side pedal. I lost 11 screws/nuts out of 16 total. In the picture only the screws with silver ends were original. Oddly enough the right side still had all 16 pins and they were fully tightened. But for those who had the similar experience, I was able to purchase replacement screws and hex nuts (see picture) and it’s still working. Will increase my review if the manufacturer ever addresses the issue with the pins not coming tight, but for now it’s 3/5 for quality control issues.
