AX Paris Women's Capped Sleeve Crocheted Lace Dress

I am 5' 7" about 195 lbs, average build with my weight pretty much everywhere but a decent portion in the tummy. Normally I am between a large and x-large so I order the 14, assumed it would be a tad tight. To my surprise it is not! It is actually a little loose but not sure if I want to chance a size down. I normally dislike dresses on me because they accentuate my midsection which I feel them makes me look like cow since I also have broad shoulders. This is a very pretty and detailed dress. It does have some odd pucker/bunching in the back which might be because it is a little loose? I tried it with a white bra and it did show through but not obscenely, almost looks like an intended underlay.I gave four stars because of the slight bunching or whatever is going on and because I am afraid of catching things on the lace bit. My ring almost got caught in it. Overall I like it, just not sure if the looseness and bunching will fly.

Because of other reviews, I was comfortable ordering a size down from what the size chart suggested, and that was nearly perfect, though we could have used an extra inch or two in the skirt, but that is a common problem for my daughter. She was looking for a white lace dress and settled on this one, even though the description said cream. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a white dress after all, so if it is important to you that the dress be cream instead of white, you might not be as pleased as we were.

I love it. I'm normally a size 9/11 in juniors, and the size 6 fit well, it poofs out at the hips a little bit, but it still looks great.

Beautiful dress, but it's too big. I very much wear a size 14, but this dress in a size 14 was hanging on me. There was a lot of extra fabric around the hips. I'm more blessed on top than on the bottom, but for somewhere where the opposite is true, it would work well.If I can't find anything else, I might go get it professionally tailored. The dress wasn't that expensive so I could justify the costs.

I loved this dress! Just what I was looking for, for my engagement photos wearing with boots. The color looked more white to me than cream, still pretty. But I am returning it and getting a size smaller :) I ordered an 8 and fit a little too loose. I am 5'3 150lbs. DD

Great classy looking dress for the price. I'm normally a size 2, but really liked the lace style and especially the sleeve, so I hoped the size 4 would work. It was a little loose. Received lots of compliments of such an inexpensive dress. Unfortunately, the way the lace pattern is set up, it would be hard to tailor it, but I would if I could.

I purchased this dress for a wedding with a roaring 20's theme. I wanted something I could wear again and this dress is perfect. Has a little bit of the fringe from the lace on the bottom, it's not at all see through and it's so soft. I was nervous it would be too short but it's not. I'm 5' 4 1/2" and it's about 2 inches above my knee. I am modest and self conscious so I was looking for something that wasn't too showy. I ordered a size 10. I am 170lbs and am a 36D and it fits perfect! I am so very pleased with my purchase.

Love this dress! Great for weddings, or a formal dress for a funeral. You can even wear this to work if you have a job that has a dressy attire. Had many compliments on it. Says hand wash. I just put it on the gentle cycle and it held up great after hang drying. Still like new! Beautiful dress and very flattering fit.
