Thick and very shiny smooth surface. I had to take it to the local hardware store to have them cut it because I didn't want to mess it up. Clear as glass. Looks great! I bought this one because it is made in the US. I did find out they sold plexiglass at the local hardware store afterwards, but that's okay. I put it above a door in the house.

Wow these are terrific very thick very heavy quarter inch acrylic pieces. I use them in the bottom of my bird cage and when they get dirty I just rinse them off and put them back in the bottom of the bird cage. A good solution and it looks better than stupid newspaper at the bottom of the cage. I don't scrub them cuz I don't want to scratch them they are acrylic I just wash them off with a soft towel and dry them and then put them back in.

I needed 2 six inch diameter circle lenses for landscape spot lights. Old ones were frosted and no longer clear and no longer available. I ordered 1/4 inch 12x12 Duco plexiglass. 2 day delivery. Cut slowly with fine blade jigsaw. Worked perfect. Leave paper protective covering on plexiglass when cutting.
