this carburetor is not an exact replacement for my Craftsman blower because of how the throttle lever engages. However it does work, you just can't change the engine speed.

Fits like original but has a adjustment screw. Nice !

Found out the carb on the trimmer was fouled. Rather than using a rebuild kit, I bought this. Started right up and was a lot easier to install than to rebuild. Worth the purchase.

Ordered this carburetor for my older troy built tb425cs since it hasn't run like it has in the past. The carburator installed and worked perfectly on the second pull after being replaced and has worked flawlessly since. I tried to adjust the idle and air ratio screws to possibly get better performance but ended returning them both back to how they came (which was prefect). The carburetor came in 2 days with Prime. For someone with no mechanical abilities, this project will only take about 5-10 minutes to disassemble and reassemble. It didnt come with instructions and really isnt needed but here they are. Remove the air cleaner cover and air cleaner sponge filter, there are 2 screws that can be removed with a flat head screwdriver shown in the first picture. This unattaches the air cleaner box and carbuator together. Pull your air cleaner out of the way. With your old carb unattached in hand, remove the 2 fuel lines and throttle cable. My throttle cable attachment was the larger one (which was made easy for ordering since they show pictures of the 2 options to match what one yours has and can order the correct one). The throttle cable has a stop (ferrel) on the end that was slightly presses into the attachment on the carbuator where I uses the same flat head screwdriver to slide upwards and out of the way. The new carbuator came with a new o-ring for the air cleaner side but no gasket for the engine side. Mine was in good shape and reinstalled the new carbuator in the old place. Slide the throttle cable in from the top of the keeper on the new carb and press in with a pair of pliers till flush. Reattach the fuel lines, bottom is the suction line from the tank that should have a filter on the end inside of the fuel tank and the top line is the return back to the tank. Place the air cleaner box on the o-ring side of the carbuator. Reinstall the two screws holding everything together them finally the air filter and air box cover. Prime the fuel bulb till gasoline flows through both fuel lines meaning the carb is full (5-10 pumps) then start the trimmer and you are all set.

It's adjustment is horrible, it cuts out and will not adjust, new filter, no muffler blockage .After having this for months I finally needed the string line trimmer and put this on and it just sucks and will either buy a different one or rebuild my old which failed after years of use and that is only because I left fuel in it for a year. I tried it on friends one (his worked) and it did same thing, it just doesn't work

I needed a carburetor for a small engine. If I was going to get a rebuild kit it would of been 2 times as much then the price of this one. The only issue was the fuel line was on the other side. So I just made the line longer. It works just fine.

Perfect Fit, at 1st I almost bought the wrong one, It was that I matched the Amazon Picture with my old carb. that made the difference!

Open the package installed the carb and it fired up right away. Absolutely no complaints didn’t need any adjustments fitted perfectly.

It’s cheap and it fixed my tractor so I am pleased with my purchase.
