Ceylon Cinnamon Powder 1 lb

This is the best tasting cinnamon I've ever bought, and my husband and I have used it for years. He uses it everyday in hot chocolate, and I use it in apple pie and spice cake. It is definitely worth the price, and Druera gets it to the customer quickly.

This is good stuff. I ordered in June of this year and mine is already gone. Here is my problem. I paid 55 then. Now they want to charge 85 with shipping. Waaaay too much. I do need another bottle.

After reading the negative reviews, I thought: this stuff will probably be like something that was scraped off the floor of a warehouse, and put into a bottle. I found the product to be very mild and mellow tasting, smooth, if you will; not bitter at all. In fact, this was the mildest tasting cinnamon I've ever tasted. The smell was not strong at all. I would describe it as having a mild smell, not light, not strong either. When I first got it, I started using it on my healthier cereal. I would put a ton in it. Even with that, it never overpowered anything, or tasted bitter, or tasted bad in any way. With as much as I put in it, that was impressive to me. Later, I would put it into smoothies, and other drinks. Again, never tasted bitter, never did anything but add a hint of cinnamon flavor. I will say: this stuff is pretty mild; so, I found myself having to use alot of it, to get that cinnamon flavor. UPS delivered this cinnamon to me, not FED EX. It arrived true to its estimation by Amazon. It was packaged well, and there was no incursion into the packaging, by Customs, or others. It showed up intact, and unmolested by anyone......to my surprise. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. This product turned out to be quite abit better than I was lead to believe (fake negative reviews). I thought: it tasted quite good, and had no bitter or bad taste to it at anytime, with any food.

If you don't know what real cinnamon tastes like, think of the smell of cinnamon candles or Big Red gum, very different from what you'll find on the shelves of most stores. This is the real stuff, not the more commonly found Saigon cinnamon you might be more accustomed to. Importing Ceylon cinnamon can be a bit of a pain here in the States, this is probably one of the most convenient ways to do it, and easily the fastest. Dru Era got it to me in three days, significantly faster than Amazon itself or most domestic sellers manage, quite the feat considering how far it had travel to get here. As it's not really clear from the pictures, the container it comes in is approximately the size of two soda cans stacked on top one another, enough to last most anyone several months if not a year.

This is a high quality, cinnamon unlike the average retail outlet products. A good cholesterol fighter. I just mix in a half teaspoon or so in my morning coffee.

This tastes wonderful on/in everything--oatmeal, granola, yogurt, smoothies, hot chocolate, fresh fruit, baking, root vegetables...the list could go on. I originally found out about "true" cinnamon when researching natural ways to regulate blood glucose, and I must say, I felt the effects of this within a couple weeks. My cravings for sweet stuff went way down and I felt more consistent throughout the day. Obviously this is based on my own experiences, not blood work, though. Still, with the way this stuff tastes, it couldn't hurt to try! I just wish the container were a bit more air tight in order to maintain freshness, but as stated above, you get what you pay for. Still, I'd be willing to pay extra for organic (I didn't see any organic Ceylon from Druera; maybe I'm mistaken!). Nonetheless, I'd definitely recommend this product.

I am so happy with this ceylon cinnamon.

This Ceylon cinnamon exceeded my expectations. It's a fine powder and has lots of flavor for ceylon cinnamon which does not have the same punch that store bought cinnamon does, but it doesn't suppose to. The good news is it's safer, better for you, and tastes great. I just have to make sure I don't over due it because you find yourself adding it to cereal, milk, toast, etc. etc.
