Great tool for content creators
I am a content creator and I was always looking for a way to record my videos with more precision. This monitor has helped me a lot because it allows me to use the rear camera of my phone and at the same time see myself on the screen. That way I know the frame and lighting are correct without having to repeat many times.Setup was easy, it is lightweight, and the bluetooth remote makes it simple to start and stop recording without moving. Since I started using it, my YouTube videos look more professional and with better quality.I recommend it to anyone who records recipes, tutorials or vlogs because it really makes a difference.

The 4K image is sharp, and setup was quick and simple
This device is a great solution to use the rear camera of my phone while still being able to see myself. The screen connects easily and works as a mirror, so I don’t have to rely on the selfie camera, which has much lower quality. The 4K image is sharp, and setup was quick and simple—just connect it to the phone and it’s ready to use. Perfect for recording videos, taking pictures, or doing live streams with the best camera on your phone.Highly recommended for anyone who wants professional-looking content without the hassle of guessing if you’re in frame.

Really useful for self recording
This product does exactly what its purpose is. Actually quiet impressively for what it is. We tested this on both android and iPhone. Android has to be use wirelessly, but iphone can be used wirelessly or with a wire. This screen is very task focused, and it does that very well. The screen is clear enough to see, even from a further distance. It has two usb c ports, one is specifically for charging this device, and the other is for connecting to a phone, which can also charge the phone. This can be charged while also charging a phone, which is a nice feature for longer recording sessions. There are 2 buttons and one switch. The power button turns the unit on and off with a long press, but with a short press rotates the screen. The middle button changes the brightness between 3 settings, but also with a long press changes the screen fit (keep original screen ratio, or fill the entire screen). The switch lets you switch between standard view and mirrored. No matter how you mount this, you can correct the picture to be seen properly. The included mount has a magnet on it to hold this screen in place, not at a fixed location, but anywhere along the length of the screen. We usually keep it off to one side so the phone camera isn’t blocked. This does have a built in battery, which is useful for a quick setup, or if you want to be more mobile. The battery lasts a long time, probably longer than you’ll need in any one session. While writing this review, I decided to try the android wired connection again. Andrioid doesn’t have the provided software built into the system, which iPhone does. The screen always linked to one website, but the website didn’t provide anything useful, until I looked at the source code and found the link to download a hccast.apk file. This seems like a fairly common screen mirroring app, but it is very outdated, at least the one provided. I suspect this app is fairly old from a message I got when installing it, that it is an old app that doesn’t provide the same security settings, or something similar. I decided to try anyway. At first the screen wouldn’t displace correctly, incorrect orientation, but after connecting a few times, that was corrected. It might have been a setting in the app itself, or just a random bug.I do notice my phone is seeing this as elf cast mirror, so maybe there is another app out there that will work. It does seem like it will be generic, but maybe specific since it is through usb. Being fair, the ad does only mention being able to use the wired connection on iPhone, so I’m surprised it is also working on android.
