The 8 and 10 oz gloves are designed for competition bouts or bag/pad work. The 12, 14 and 16oz gloves are ideal for general training and sparring. The heavier gloves provide for a rigorous workout and the attached thumb design prevents injuries.

A Glove Worthy of Multiple Purchases
I've joined the bandwagon. At the word of my coach, I decided to purchase Twins Special Muay Thai Boxing Gloves. Two weeks after purchasing my first pair (Style: TW4 - Size: 16oz), I decided to purchase two additional pairs (Thailand and White), both 14 oz.One may ask, "why?" Well, the answer for me is really simple. I found the hand compartment to be comfortable yet snug and secure; the wrist support being very secure given the apparent quality and width of the velco, while not obstructing my ability to clinch (vital part of Muay Thai); the placement of the padding - offering protection across the knuckles and back of the hand; and finally, let's not forget the craftsmanship - beautiful design, flawless stitching, and quality leather makes this a gloves worth multiple purchases.

Incredible Quality
These are incredible gloves.I'm a big guy and throw hard. These gloves take punishment without a problem.Be warned, these gloves will feel too small at first, especially if you are used to Rev Gear or Venom. Give them time to stretch and form to your hands. Once they are broken in, they will fit ....wait for it......like a glove.I used these for focus mitts, sparring, and heavy bag work. In order to preserve them, I'm going to invest in another set of gloves exclusively for heavy bag use, as heavy bag work tends to compress the padding is hard on the leather.I will be a Twins fan for life.(FYI: Twins and Top King are owned by the same family.)

High Quality but with flaws
Great material and quality. Had problems initially with the feel of my right hand in the glove. There was some part of the foam or something that was putting extensive pressure on my fingers, it took several uses to wear it in better and I still need to make sure I get my hand in it’s ‘grove’ otherwise the pressure returns. Also during extensive boring sessions I have noticed my hand will start slipping around even with hand wraps on. Not sure if it’s from the hand wraps loosening or what but it does not make sense that a glove that fits so tightly would allow my hand to move around so freely after extended sessions. Overall the glove is very good and feels great during rounds, molds to ur hand pretty well (minus the point i mentioned above) and feels like it is part of ur hand instead of being a big bulky extension.

I LOVE my 16 oz Twins Special
I did a lot of research on gloves prior to purchase. I am an avid female athlete and have incorporated more boxing into my training routine, as well as that of my clients. I am a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and have a martial arts background among other things. I LOVE my 16 oz Twins Special! Excellent quality/durability. I did not find them as stiff as I expected based on other reviews. That said, I think they will be even better once I spend some time breaking them in.

It's Official; Goodbye Hayabusa, Hello Twins
Already having the Hayabusa Tokushu Regenesis, I decided to give these a try as I needed workability in the wrist for clinching (Muay Thai style). I must say, these gloves are simply amazing. i admire the craftsmanship, the design, the concentration of padding over the knuckles and backhand, and the flexibility in the wrist for clinching without compromising overall wrist support.

FAKE GLOVES FAKE TWINS ARE NOT AUTHENTIC
I bought the dragon / black and gold gloves.Turns out they aren't real twins and are FAKE. They do not look like the ones in the picture, they are slightly different and after youtubing " fake Twins Special Gloves" I found I had bought a pair from this seller. Now it all makes sense - when I wear them during muay thai my wrists would hurt for 1 - 2 days.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER

but very good muay thai gloves
Muay Thai gloves. Boxing gloves are more rounded around the knuckles, but very good muay thai gloves.
