I'm not a huge fan of sardines but want to eat them for the health benefits. I tried them today on a bed of arugula salad, homemade dressing, homemade pickled onions and freshly grated parm. Holy MOLYYYY these are TASTYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!

Love these sardines. Delicious smokey flavor and healthy to boot! Better price than I can find anywhere local and the kids love them.

...and my husband normally won't ever eat sardines when I do. These were mild, with virtually no strong fishy smell. The taste was great, subtle smokiness was pleasant. They were meaty, in nice size pieces. Surprisingly I liked that they were skinless & boneless, I didn't realize it would make a difference to me- but I found it did. It was the last of the 3 varieties from this company I tried- the other 2 being the kippers and the herring w/ cracked pepper. I liked them all very much, and I will continue to buy all 3, to rotate using, as they all are different from each other. Worth the extra money in my opinion.

Recently tried these sardines for the first time. Very pleases with the taste, price, and excellentl quality of these sardines. They have a wonderful smoky flavor, are wild-caught, and are packaged in a BPA free container. In addition, they are an excellent source of protein and omega 3's. We like them on those tender wheat crackers with a bit of remoulade sauce, or they are really tasty with a bit of butter on rye crisp crackers. This makes a very tasty, satisfying snack or small meal...really hits the spot you when you are craving something a bit salty with lots of flavor. We purchased a case of 12 tins...good price and very convenient item to keep on hand in your pantry. They do have a stronger "fish" taste, but combining them with the remoulade cuts that "fishy" taste for those who are more sensitive or still learning to like fish.

As someone who eats sardines 2-3 times a week, these are my favorites. HOWEVER, they are expensive which is why I only give them 4/5. Great for a sandwich or to make with scrambled eggs.

Perfectly balanced flavor of smoke and salt with large (2 per can) mild tasting sardines. My favorite of all time.

I wrote the review below before they raised the price by $28. That is some ridiculous price gouging if I ever saw it. Too bad. I have to find another brand.. These sardines are huge. The flavor is spot on and consistent. Just the right amount of salt, smokiness and liquid in the package. I personally like to slurp out the broth, dump them on a plate, cover them with fresh high quality extra virgin olive oil, capers, chopped red onion and some chopped olives and roasted peppers, sometimes some hot sauce or mustard. Right out of the tin is just as good. I like the fact that they are packed in water as I don't always feel I want the oil. These sardines have ruined me for life as of now, all other sardines are inferior.

Ive tried a variety of brands of sardines and these are hands down the best. Perfect flavor and texture.
